Broke the camber & caster bolt on my 1997 chevy g20.

Love the NY rust..

Yep so it happen when i had the 16 foot trailer on towing my home goods to the new home we got move in to.

^That Camber Bolts hold the Upper A-Arm in on the frame That holds the wheel in the upright position.

For the fix i had to take the bracket off that was riveted in the spring housing "Torch and chisel did that" Then hand tools for back side bolts for the bracket.

What cased it... IDK i think the alignment shim rusted out and we had play that made the bolt sher off. it is back and fixed and need to re do the ball joints tie rods and alignment Fun times.

I have 4 kids and 2 in wheel chairs

So we need the big van.

Note The lap top in the old CRT tv spot.. LoLs 2 bad LapTop dont play BF3.

If you doing the work yourself.. you got a job ahead of you. That iron ore you got growing looks like it will be a pain in the ass.

You better check your brake lines !!!! (for rusting through) From what i see you will have concerns.........

agreed please inspect you frame for rot and immediately check your brake lines.nothing more scary then brake pedal to floor while family in vehicle.gl

aside from other rust problems, i noticed the CB radio on the console, glad to see some one still has one these days, I miss mine, but can't make myself mount an antenna on my truck.

very good advice after replacing brake lines and adding fish plates to frame (rust out) have the truck whole underside oil spray'ed to stop rusting away on you

 

had a ole rusty honda i'd just used windex bottle and old motor oil every fall soaked the underside, stopped rusting and the old spots just stayied dark brown not red rust

I love NY,

NY use's salt in winter,

Not so good to get old cars from NY.

We are looking in to a newer less rusty full size.

Thank you all for advice, We got that issue fixed.

 

And yes i do use CB raido 130 NY State Tater Just got down.
