My computer fried so i bought a new one today which has windows 8 on it. Was wondering if anyone know where i stick my player profile backup folder in? On windows 7 it was easy still, there was a button at the top of the activision folder called compatibility mode and when clicking on it there appeared players folder, mod folders, user maps folder. Cant seem to find that compatibility mode button on Win 8 so there for i dont know how to add this all in. Anyone know? Would really appreciate the help.

I agree with you both but im going to giver this Win 8 a chance and see what its all about. I learn it by messing around with it. After about 2 hours i did manage to find where custom maps and player profiles and mods go. For anyone else that may have this issue in the near future here is where it is: c:/User/YOUR USER ACCOUNT NAME/Appdata/Local/Virtual Store/Program Files(x86)/Activision/Call of Duty - Modern Warfare/players/profiles It is nothing like the last few versions of windows where it was easy to find. Seems now it is all in the seperate place. There is a second folder PROGRAM FILE(X86) than the one most people would think of going directly from C: drive to Program Files(x86). Sneaky they were putting this OS together.. Hopefully this can help someone else later. All my mods, maps and user profiles are plugged in an operational..
