Looks like all is good at first then go to refresh server lists and boom all server freeze not just our server. Its like all the time now. Can play any internet game except WAW. And have all patches and punkbuster updates too. Cant join any server not just ours. However sometime I will sneak up on the game try to join and there will be just a flicker of hope then "ta da" timed out and nada. Its like a very weak connection or something Damit. I noticed you mentioned timing out, sometimes if your internet speed isn't fast enough it will do that. Mine did once and they found I had someway gotten water into the cable. One thing I did notice that after hurricane Sandy it went down hill at least for me on the west coast. There is just no connection to the master server from here anymore it seems for now. Then check your ping to the server of your choice. If you need help there are those here I am sure would be willing to help! There is a program called ping plotter and you can get it here! http://www.pingplotter.com/freeware.html This can tell you where the problem is! Lots of lag and CI's on XI servers, and unable to connect to other game servers. I have several servers loaded on my HLSW and about half won't connect at all. It is possible, although highly unlikely except by complete mistake, that the Activision server IP is blocked at the peering level. PingPlotter would show that as no connectivity past a certain point. But that assumes you know the IP of the Activision server. I do not. I'm just using store bought disc. Been a month now and no go for me. Also uninstalled and reinstalled patched it up and same issue. At first on multiplayer all servers load up, all looks good, refresh list and all servers disappear. Hell I even tried not refreshing and join our server and it times out. I do miss it. Just wondering if I bought a steam version if I could play? Oh this sucks... Its like the pathway from where I'm at on the west coast is caput. Its happen before but not for this long and it would suck more if the steam version didn't work for me either. Got damn fast internet service so that's not it either and when I do play my ping is great for west coast to east coast. Ever since the hurricane it been hit or miss. So I exited game I try to refresh and no go again. So it ticks down to 10 then times out. Well I gave it another go tonight and was able to play with Zombie Fart for about two minutes before connection interruption and that's without refreshing. Kuput again so I think this tells me that what ever connection I have is so weak now even though my ping was about 60 to 55 which isn't to bad.
