Once it sees the disc once in multi-player, it doesn't go looking again. Before I had a melt down I never had to put the disc in to play multiplayer. Now ever since I have to make sure the disc is in to be able to play. The disk is only required for single player. My son and I never require the disk for multiplayer. Make sure you are starting with the correct icon, cod5mp.
