I am grateful for the many suggestions by admins and others as to how I could tackle the deteriorating situation with game disconnection. However, the reality is that by updating components like Punkbuster and repairing the game, it has become unplayable. I can no longer stay in the game long enough to collect any points I earn. So, I have come to the conclusion that, at my age, time is a commodity I cannot waste and I intend to uninstall the game completely from my system. A complete reinstallation to see if that might provide a fix is not beyond possibility but, with a 3-Meg download, we're talking a day or so uninterrupted. I am disgusted by EA/DICE's behaviour in releasing a broken game. I am having to quit both before I reached even halfway in the ranking system and before the final DLC for which I have paid has arrived. I believe my days of playing PC games are numbered.
