I started running traces when my pings were bad and all was good until I hit a hop in Chicago. My pings to other servers are not impacted during these episodes and I can connect and play on them without any problems. While on the roof of a house in game i watched three members run forward and backward up and down the same 10 feet while I was attempting to shoot them. When they turned to fire at me you could see them reloading 5 or 6 times in succession and repeat the action of running forward and back and then firing over and over and never hitting me while I stood in plain site. Finally the lag got so bad on the FT server we all decided to switch over to the XI Redline Server. There were 18 of us that all moved over to the Redline server and the lag and freeze stopped. That would pretty much say it wasn't any one of the FT players having computer reception trouble. One other thing --- I was looking at the in game stats when a freeze occurred and everybody had a ping of under 130 then all the pings went to 800 plus for about 15 seconds then after 20 seconds after the pings returned to normal all the pings went to 900 plus and two or three members lost complete connection. Those we lost returned a couple of minutes later while we were making the final decision to switch to the Redline server. 12 of the 20 playing FT switched over to Redline and it wasn't long and all 20 players showed up with the final 8 saying the FT server had seized completely and they couldn't get back on. We played Redline for the next 3 hours without any problems except a momentary CI around 11:45 but that was for only a couple seconds and until we all quit for the night at 2:30 A.M. everything on Redline ran Smooth. I could be wrong but it seems that certain map set selections may be the trouble as every time these maps show up we start having the CI and server Freeze problems maybe this could be the problem.
