Played around with renaming the iron sights 'no attachment' option to just be another option for extended mags. So regardless you will have an attachment of some kind. Just in this case its iron sights with bigger magazines instead of an optical attachment or silencer. Works well.

If I can make it work.... a big 'if'... Tito got the stealth chopper model for me. He really is generous making up these things.  Using a different model is the easy part once I can get the poly size down. Its pretty heavy. The hard part will be making it invisible to the minimap. Unfortunately for cod4 its an all-or-nothing thing for each team. I can make (I think) heli's hidden to an enemy team but it has to be all of them. Because there can only be one attack heli at a time that is not a problem. But it does mean I cannot use heli's for care packages otherwise they will be invisible also. So that would mean ac130 drops for all of them. Which in itself is not a bad idea because they are generally faster. I can probably make it up so each team has a different skin for their ac130.

 

edit: so this would replace the littlebird.

Sound exciting Sammy. Would it be undetectable by the Sam Turret? Also, speaking of Helis can we make Artillery a Heli strike instead of an Airstrike? Considering it takes up pretty much the same time as a Heli and there can only be 1 heli/arty at a given time.

I'm not sure what you mean about the heli. In any case artillery time has been shortened a bit by reducing the number of volleys. But each one is bigger and a little larger spread.

 

For SAM's I will make it like all the others. If a friendly UAV is active they can be partially targeted. Otherwise they cant. Targeting does have its limitations. If there is a UAV then its knows the general area it is at but not exactly. The launcher will fire in a straight line. If the missile gets close enough it will lock on. If it misses and gets too far away it will lose it. I will be working out the numbers for this as they are used by more people.

What I meant what was that when we call Artillery right now, it is considered an AirStrike.Instead can it be considered a Helicopter. That way it won't conflict with Predators or AGMs.

That's the idea, instead of blocking air strikes it should block heli's since they fly at artillery's shell height and not the air planes or predators.

DUDE the RC CARS are RETARDED now that you can save up 3? I saved up 2 and got 1 from a package and thawed the whole team and blew up 1/2 of the other team.It was CRAZY.Get a RC CAR,noob tube someone and get another 1 it's an endless FUCKFEST of RC CARS.Most of the other team rage quit and I don't blame them.

 

 

Can you limit the amount to 1 Skill Streak TYPE that can be saved?

 

Or possibly make those damn little remote controled nuclear powered jihad cars available for a a Slightly higher retail price of $6.95??  FFS lol

 

 

Seriously I was averaging 8 RC CARS per round with 12 people in the server.Even Mule rage quit and he was drunk as a skunk :rofl:

You had to earn those 8 cars like always. You get nothing for free and would have gotten those cars anyways. The only difference is that you had greater flexibility in when to use them.

 

Exactly which server is running this mod? The only one I know of that has it shows no activity.

Besides, you chose to save the cars instead of using them. I assume for good reason. Why should you have been forced to use them when you didnt want to?

it was on 1.46 when we was having difficulties with a map crashing MW2 server.It was 6 v 6 for a bit then people started to leave when MW2 server got rebooted.Me Mule and 2 others played for roughly 1 hour.My team all left toward the end and it was just me vs 3.

 

In 6 V 6 3 RC Cars every couple of minutes make 1 round last for what seems like Hours.You can keep your entire team thawed and blow up most of the other team just by using RC Cars.

 

Camp a blind corner,wait for enemy to pass and mow them down,pop out of the corner and noob tube 2 ppl and you have 2 RC Cars in less than a minute.

 

 

Earn a RC Car every 2 kills.Die after every 2 kills and you keep them.So 6 kills = 3 RC cars with kill streak perk on.

 

 

I can thaw up to 6 people with 1 RC Car depending on how far apart they are.So up to 18 people thawed with 3 RC Cars that I got for 6 kills.

 

 

Just seems a wee bit unbalanced.Would be Much better if you could limit the number of specific kill streak Types you could save to 1.

People like Tigger will use every RC car and the Spawn protection you get with every RC Car to get into the enemy spawn and camp like he usually does.I see ALOT more people rage quitting in the near future if this isn't changed.

Well I suggested cutting down on streak respawn protection to maybe 3-4 seconds. Enough to get out of the way in case anyone is there. But... nope... cant have that.

Disable the spawn protection after cars all together? It will be like reloading, you will have to plan your cars and use them sensibly.

I have a great idea, make spawn protection unlimited until someone gets their weapon out. It will be a game of hide and seek. Everyone waiting for everyone else to get out of spawn protection. That'll make a great great game.

When activating and driving the car you are actually supposed to be standing there and players can shoot you. A couple seconds of spawn protection is needed because if someone sees you disappear, with a car in your place, he knows you will pop up again and will wait for you. Four seconds should be plenty.

Ya I seen that you just stand there.I was laying down when I activated an RC Car and he stood up.

 

 

Would be better if you would not go Invisible at all after using an RC Car.

 

The spawn protection is OK but Invisible And Invincible is a little much.It's giving the player a chance to get behind enemy and get Free kills.So every RC Car you use you are almost guaranteed at-least 1 more kill because no one can See you walk up behind enemy spawn locations because your Invisible.

 

Might as well make a Kill Streak perk called "Ninja" that makes you invisible for a said amount of time.

Before, when you used a streak, you always respawned back at the beginning. So I added the option of spawning where you left off. Which in itself took work until a way was found that was reliable and you didnt fall down elevator shafts when you respawn. Also so you didnt get stuck in walls. It was never intended to use streak spawn protection for this purpose and the normal spawn protection time, which I think is 8 seconds, is too long. But it is for all the admins to get together and decide whether or not to cut that in half for streaks only.

 

But of course I already know that those that do this are going to say no. It will cramp their style.

Ya there's a Few people that All they do is use RC car and Predator missile for the Invisible Spawn Protection crap.They end up inside or behind the other team within a minute or 2 and end up getting HUGE kill streaks over and over and over on every map.

 

I think it's a problem that needs addressed.They may not think it's a problem but everyone has a rite to have an opinion I guess lol.

Thank you. I really dont like people exploiting things in this way and prefer it to be addressed. If I knew this was going to happen I would have made streak respawning four seconds max long ago. Of course there is always the option of respawning back at the beginning. As it was way back in the 1.3 mod. Even tho it really doesnt make sense that way.

 

Added the sc2010 as a g3 replacement. Works well. But its a heavy model, as are all ghosts models, and I am trying to simplify it to free up a little bit of room. Not much but every bit counts. Its very tedious work.
