8 hp left after 11 pulses

 

So it took 2hp per pulse

 

The only way it kills is if there is more than 1 of them deployed or they were wounded from falling dmg or got shot and the Gas finished them off.

 

We only see Maybe 2 or 3  novagas kills every couple of days.They rarely do much other than slow people down.

stealth heli was BoomBooms fault he changed to it long after he had spawned and it didn't switch over till he died.That's normal.

Well, the gas is supposed to kill you if it explodes at your feet and you dont leave.

"Players receive thirteen damageper second spent in the gas, and it takes eight "hits" with the gas for a player with 100% health to die."

"The gas does however dissipate very quickly so players inside the gas almost never die unless they are already wounded, trapped, or both."

 

That's saying 13 dmg per hit kills in 8 hits.But they have 100 HP and we have 30.

 

 

It needs to be survivable but yet Kill if you stand in it.It hits for 11 hits and 2 dmg per second will not kill @ 30hp but 4dmg @ 11 hits will kill in 8 hits.

 

If you can get it to hit for 4 dmg per hit I think it would be spot on since we have 30hp.

Maybe 6 points. So on the 5th hit (30 points @ 5 seconds) you are dead. Barring armor. If I set to 5 then it would take 6 hits. Depends how quickly you can get out if it explodes at your feet. It must allow for you to leave the area but still kill if you dont.

Hotfix:

 

boom told me about instances where streak icons are disappearing on defrosts but the streaks themselves are still there. Not sure why that is happening but made a small change where instead of a blank icon if you dont have one for that slot it will show the 'null' icon. So there should always be something there (not including loadout fadeout) and not just blank. If you get 'null' even tho a streak exists then that will hopefully help me narrow down the problem.

 

Tests seem to work. This applies to streak 1-3. The tac nuke and special weapon icons works differently and may or may not have a problem. Only way to tell is for someone to get them but not use it until you die/defrost a couple times. Or for the special weapons to activate it but not use it up.

 

 

edit: The Saritech RDS attachment model is too low. But the dot itself is correct and centered, not counting sway. So I have to reposition the attachment while keeping the dot in the same position. In the meantime use the dot to aim and ignore the surrounding model.

 

edit: yea minor bug with tac nuke icon. When you use it the icon is still there. But since using it ends the match anyways its not pressing atm to fix it.

Update:

 

For testers, added a function that hopefully will keep track of total time per-player. Server start/restart begins at zero. Map/round rotation should not reset timer. You start at zero from the time you join. It will reset if you leave.

 

For now a debug message will print when you are frozen telling you how long in seconds. It should not count spectators. Only if you are on a team. So plz test for that. If this works it will be applied to redirect checks later on.

I have a question Sammy, if nobody is around a enemy player that is frozen are they supposed to automatically defrost?  It has happened a lot today and is annoying.  If the server were full the games could go on forever.

If everyone is dead within the auto-defrost time, the other team wins, other than that auto-defrost yeah...

 

Also, theres only a 3 total round per map.. kinda fast. Seems to me like there are some TDM settings in tact still?

 

And my chopper glitched it went down instantly.. plus it bugged out for 30 seconds or so in the sky.

Can you be more specific about the heli? Which one and what did it do? The autodefrost was something I did for testing so I would defrost. Must not have no changed it back. What are the usual number of max rounds?

 

edit: There should have been 'time played' messages after you die, in seconds. Did they look accurate and maintain their values between round and map changes? Everyone's amount should be unique depending on when they joined.

Grrr. The timer didnt work on map rotation. Keeps it on round changes tho... I think. It was hard to tell. Seemed to work at home.

Sammy your correct on the Jumping not being correct.Can't make the jump from the East spawn building to the 2nd floor balcony on mp_ccinn_dawnb1 map.

 

Used to JUST be able to make that jump.I can make it but I have to run along the side railing.It's Damn close but just a tad bit off yet.

 

 

 

Edit: I can make the jump but I have to look DOWN and use the roof ledge like a ramp.It seems to be dropping slightly faster when I fall.Maybe the gravity is a tiny bit off?

Sammy, checked out the KS icons they work now. No disappearing icon just yet.

 

There are 3 rounds total with auto defrost. I assumed it was for expediting the tests. The timer does show at the bottom left carries over a round not map. I recorded an entire game. I will aend u the demo in a PM.

Also did u change the jump or speed settings? It used to be a bit faster now its a bit slower. Faster compared to noacr mos.

Something funky with the gravity.I seem to run over door ways or other small objects and it shoots me Up in the air a bit.If your running full speed it will shoot you up and you whack your head on the door frame.

 

Stupid Novagas is hitting for 9 hits of 2 dmg.I did manage to kill myself with them.Tossed 1 took 5 hits then tossed another and it finished me off.

Configs are a work in progress. Shouldnt be auto defrost anymore and forced start spawns. Tried it earlier and seemed to be ok. Not sure about total rounds. No change in gravity.

 

Tried everything I could think of to get the timer thing to work. I asked in the OW forums to see if anyone has any ideas. If not, the only other setting that might be something to use is total time spent on the server with that specific mod and folder name. Its not the same numbers as the gametracker totals. So if you delete your profile it resets to zero. Example: if someone has already been on for 3 hours, but a joining player has more time over the course of a month or whatever, then he is redirected. In a sense the joining player is more of a regular than the other. Clan members are exempt as always. Dunno if that would be 'fair' but might be better than what is there now. Unless you are the one that is redirected.

Wow. I uploaded a hotfix, which will take effect next restart, that will show when anyone has died how long he has played this particular mod. WIll say "1 hour 26 minutes" or something like that. But... there are currently 13 players on it so will I restart later.

Sammy, this mod is punkbustering for duplicate GUIDs, can we turn this off? Angus and I have the same GUID and we got kicked.

 

Loved the mod the few minutes I got to play it! :)

Found a slight problem @@Sammy .

 

 

I got a Sentry Nade from a random care package.Went to use it and got killed because I didn't realize how Slow it deployed them now.I got Thawed and Apon respawn it did the animation like I deployed it and I no longer had any guns.

 

It did this twice in a row.Killed twice during deployment and killed twice because I had no weapons on respawn.

 

 

 

Novagas grenades are useless the way they are.We had 20 people in the server and not 1 kill even though everyone was tossing them all over the place.They do make for good cover if your out in the open though,well until they realized it doesn't kill you and they just run through and shoot ya in the back.lol

Yea I know the gas isnt quite powerful enough. Will fix tomorrow. Currently on my laptop checking stuff before I call it a night.

 

For slow, I assume you mean the cellphone and should be exactly the same as the sentrygun and all other cellphone based streaks. Is this one taking longer than say the one that activates the uav? I will have to check it out tomorrow. Dropping it on defrost sounds strange. I assume that is what you mean. In those instance were you killed in the process of activating one first?

I went to deploy it near the enemy spawn and got killed in the process.It did the animation but I got shot before it pooped out.

 

 

After I respawned it did the animation again by it's self.I didn't tell it to.I could not use my guns as they were not even in my hands.Couldn't see what was in my hands but I'm guessing that the cellphone was.

 

I tried to switch weapons and even tried to knife nothing happened.It was like being hand cuffed.So I went and got shot by the enemy and I respawned OK.My dumb ass went and did the exact same thing again.Got shot while deploying and it bugged again.Not sure if it happens while deploying Everything or just the Sentry Nade.

 

I'll test this a bit when iBoomBeech gets on.And get ya a demo.
