As the final push towards Berlin by the Red army reached its final weeks the Nazi army equipped anyone and everyone who could stand and fight dispite age or gender

In the final days the Red army sought to bring about total destruction on what was left of the Nazi War machine

In doing so the blood bath began leaving behind items (equipment) some laying just below the surface and others a bit deeper

If you can only see some of these items that have been recovered and imagine the story they hold and the final hours they were in use on the Eastern front during the final push

This video is over 20 minutes long but worth the watch

I live on the battlegrounds from ww1 and still we find stuff of this war , bullets , weapons ,bunkers, non exploded bombs, even skeletons from soldiers .

The war started in 1914 (100 years ago ) for 4 years (ended 1918).

We have  a lot of wargraves here.

I live 10 miles from ypres.
