I start a new Call of Duty and see that I am still active on the server with a ping 999th And thus no longer'm coming into play, and must wait until a new map loads. So it makes no fun. I just don't remember a fix. What server do you play on most often I can see about lowering the idle time to auto kick you faster. This is just a maybe though. I'd actually been seeing fewer incidences of the "duplicate qport on server" message when a map failed or the game crashed. As Hunter suggests, get an admin to kick you if you are locked out in this fashion. Maybe we need a change log of tweaks made to solve issues, Labob? I have also seen the dup qport by some and not sure if this is related so will keep looking into this as well. As Hunter as said, if for some reason you still can't get in after a couple of minutes, look for an admin in game or on xfire to kick you. We're working on it and thanks for your patience. How long you let somebody hang around to download a new map and somebody who has some issue with the server and can't get in. Both are handled by the same setting. We usually try for 3 minutes then they get kicked. iF FOR SOME REASON THE GAME IS GETTING WONKY AND ITS ONE OF OUR OLDER SERVER WITHOLD MAPS TURNING THE TIME DOWN TO 1 MINUTE IS A good thing.
