i never agreed to that... even tho i am willing to do (nearly) everything to get a server with the old mod... :lol:

and as long as u dont promise it and set the server up its all just blablabla :stuart:

 

Just give it some time Kitty you will like this mod too. This is a good one, we will sort out the sounds too.

Yea the car has an extra explosion sound for the car owner to hear that is better. It is played locally to the player that doesnt come from a specific location. Same with the ac130 if you are hit by a missile. Like the briefcase bomb is just a stereo wav file. Everybody else just hears the regular one.

 

edit: The sc2010 did have one setting wrong for world weapon fire sounds compared to others. So will change that and on next update will see what happens. If you suspect any other weapons let me know.

 

edit again: The smr/saritch had the wrong setting also. I dont actually know if that was the problem yet but I set it to work like all the others on the next mod compile.

most times u can't hear or tell when car rt on u as well....sounds like its always close or not at all

HHhhhmmmm first off, I must admit I am not yet a fan of this MOD. Maybe, like people said, it's change you grow to love. And I can't really pin down what I think is wrong with it. But something feels off, like run speeds have increased, or the adverage map is smaller (Something is making it so that people are just a million times harder to pin down). I understand that there is not much else you can do about competability between maps and MODs. But in the end, it feels like there is no way to sneak around anymore. I guess that's what I miss (Ps. I have made it to lvl 55, so I put some hours in). Other than that, most of the changes are pretty awesome Sammy, good job!

Speed is a bit faster, that's probably why the hit markers are bit harder to catch. I asked Sammy to up the speed, as it makes the game a bit more fast paced. Now campers are only affected in the way that they have to adapt to aiming at players running a bit faster. 

 

So don't blame the mod or Sammy, blame me :D

Speed should be the same as the noacr server, which is higher than normal. But I will check. Normally speed is dictated by your loadout. LMG is slower than specops. But that has always been overridden afaik.

 

I was going to make that a perk like it is on current games. You run at top speed regardless of your loadout. I think BO2 or one of the others. But that would just add to the bitching. :devil:

 

edit: Speed is slightly more than what is considered normal and there are no class modifiers. Not including Lightweight and others. However if you are both running around when you melee then the effects are obviously cumulative.

One of the guns sounds like a freaking paintball gun, its a popular one cause ya get 4 or 5 people in an area shooting them and it is mind numbing i tells ya!! I have noticed the knife not reacting some times and have heard others saying the same, click for knifing somone and nuttin happens, then finally it would after 2 or 3 clicks. Would like to see the 20 second delay on loading of new map to come back. Now new map loads and you join and start running, low ping quick connectors are in spawn before higher ping people even join. Before, the map would load, there was a 20 second countdown and then match started giving teams a chance to fill up and everyone getting going at same time "Release the Krakens!!!" Also... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE either do away with OT totally or make it NO FREE SPEC. Sucks ass being last one vs 1-2-3 or whatever and having the other team just direct them right to you. Other than that, i have no probs with the mod and like it actually, ive always had a good connection so its never been an issue for me and i love change!

Both Running around? Me moving as well? You have not been in the server with me enough, otherwise you'd refrain from saying something so obsolete :P

I pinpointed to problem to my mouse, it has an adjustable Dpi setting on it, and it would shoot up and down liittle bits with intensive use. The problem has been fixed for me.

Things are changed. But not online yet. Currently having some problems with the SMR model being too dark and I cant figure out the problem. Sent it to another modder that hopefully will be able to spot something I missed. Went through all the custom gun models so they all reuse the same attachments and materials and this is the only one causing me headaches.
