Does this new mod means that we finely can have our old maps back ? 

and other rotations, then the ones we used all the time with the last mod ?

 

Asking because the older mod with the ACR gun had plenty more maps. can we run all of that maps again ?

Or are we still stuck on the same old maps we had on the mod before this one ??? 

 

i miss so much good maps in the rotation because the other mod could not handle the maps. is that fixed with this new mod ?

@@Dukoo if you want your old maps just get all the names of the maps you want make up about 35 maps ill check them out and if they work ill make up a map rotation from it

that way you have the maps you want 

 

as for the other maps yes we will be testing them all again to see if they play

I wish i would have writen down the names of it... 

there's like 400 maps or so... is there not a option to download all the maps from somewhere and to check all the maps by my self, like the names of the maps or so ? 

i realy think there's alot more intresting maps we miss on the server.

Map compatibility should be the same as the noacr mod. Maybe a bit better.

Thats good news. all the time the same maps gets boring. 

 

Is there a list or .doc file or zo from all the maps we have with the names to create new rotations ? 

or is it a matter of downloading them trough the xi downloader and than check every map to see the onces you like or not ?

is that the one like with that brige in the middle ? where right was a spawn and over the bridge was a spawn. and there was a hill and water between it. 

 

and i am looking for an map where u could walk trough the middle of the map, get in tunnels left and right where cars... its a map we used to play 4 to 5 years ago.... 

 

there's a couple of more maps.... i wish i could test out all this maps to see wich name is what map.

ive got all the map names now. there's like 400 of them or so.

In game there is a way to run your PC as a server in cod5 so you can run maps. I'm pretty sure COD 4 has the same thing.

If you really are interested in going through all the maps I can create a server which symlinks to the redirect, that would mean all maps in the redirect could be loaded. It's allot of work though and I will only put the effort in setting it up if I know there will be effort put in using it.

duc I'll help test maps.I think Gooney,iBoomBoom,Huskie and a few other people might help go through them to.

 

What game type would it need to be set at for it to work with freezetag?

 

I know it's alot of work but with 1,006 total maps they need to be gone through and sorted.The currently used maps are getting quite ummmm Boring?

Canal bf3 is a very big map. Perfect for 32 player matches but terrible for small ones.

I created this tool a while ago and shared it back then as well, but now added the ability to download maps.

 

- Download the tool and start it, it will pop up a folder selection window. Select your Call of Duty 4 folder here and click OK.

- This tool is designed to create map rotations. Click on the + button in the middle to add an entry to the rotation. After you've clicked it you can select a map and gamemode on the left. Keep doing this until you're satisfied. You can remove entries with the X button in the middle and move them with the /\ and \/ arrow buttons in the middle.

- Once you've made your map rotation you can either save it as a text file or export it (shows you the rotation as text).

 

-The part specially made for you ( :D ): Go to File > Import maps... . It's automatically set to the XI server, click on next >. Here is a list of ALL CoD4 maps available on XI's server. This tool sadly can't see which maps do and which don't work on the ftag server, but there seems to be this file: http://xiredirect2.com/redirect/cod4/usermaps/COD%204%20servers%20and%20maps.ods which contains these details.

-Select the maps you want to download and click on the download button. If you only want to see the loadscreen image, leave the 'Download only IWD' checkbox checked, if you want to playtest it, uncheck it!

 

This is what the tool looks like:

Small note: Don't be surprised if it takes the tool a minute to open if you have 500+ maps. Also please know that when you start the tool, it tries to generate those thumbnail images you see on the left, so that uses up quite a bit of CPU power for a minute or two until it's done.
