Well, it seems that Hardcore Team Deathmatch didn't go over all that well.  The server's been hosting crickets mostly.

For those that DO like that game type, don't despair.  I'll bring it back, but maybe on an occasional weekend-only basis, or something like that.

Right now, I'm trying to get "Gun Game" running.  Not quite sure if it is working yet or not, but for those unfamiliar with Gun Game, you start out with one weapon, then after a few kills, you "rank up" to another gun.  The gun you get may be better, or maybe not.  But it is challenging.  And the final challenge, after you have run through all the guns, is that you get only a knife and have to melee your way to victory.

And there's a new rotation set of maps running on DM1 as of now, so go taste the variety.

Gun game is awesome! One thing to consider though with testing these new modes...most of the players tend to stay on a 'home' server and only occasionally try new servers or 'unique' game styles from what they occasionally play. It's not that it's not popular, it's just not what the crowd is used to and they always fall back to where the majority are, which makes new servers hard to populate. Keep up the good work though brotha!
