I noticed that i couldn`t find the network smoothing factor anymore in game. Guess what.... It`s gone! They automated the process, what actually meens that a low ping now actually is better on the multiplayer servers. The 100 ping what the game was made for is just gone..... I don't know that I like that. As someone who's got a lot of network/WAN and technical experience I still rather control my own and flat out kill it vs. some fake visual thinking it's smooth. At best it helped if someone or you was lagging a bit but in motion and you were trying to shoot them and couldn't properly judge the movement yourself (but hey we are pro's we should be able to!! hah) On it's bad days this is how you start ending up with more people wondering how someone lived they blasted the shit out of or how they died when they was around a corner though also in other situations. The high frequency update bit I liked and they should have automated from day one but this thing is just a poor mans/dirty patch at larger issues really.
