I was sitting in a diner with my daughter having some breakfast, and the young child of a patron had a meltdown running up and down the isles of the restaurant screaming at a pitch that can only be described as window shattering, while the parents ignored him. I glanced at the man sitting across the isle from me and we gave each other that look with a smirk as if saying "the kid needs to be taken outside for a smack".
