Haha i love Windows,  just tried to play Flashpoint red River and for some reason you have to go through windows with profiles etc, i forgot i had one so i made another, went into game and told it to remember my name and profile, game started up everything ok until i actually tried to play a single player game all the sound went and i realised they had logged me in on someone else's profile......wonderful have no idea how to get my profile back it logs me in automatically now and i have no idea why there is no sound, Dragon Rising works great....fucking Windows.

And of course since they are starting to release Win10-only games people have no choice if they want to play them. Microsoft has a huge problem with disclosure and it looks bad on them when some others write up articles that tell the people what is happening.

And? Your issue here? Get and buy the game, some of the cost goes to developing new games and, more importantly, helps keep the gaming industry alive... You play hacked / cracked / pirated games your the one who's gonna lose out eventually, the people who hand over their hard earned cash will have no worries...

I just put the article up as it will have people interested who have windows 10 installed.

I never said that I have pirated games did I??  A majority of people do pirate games thats why I put the article up

Windows will be doing the same thing to pirated software/movies next guaranteed

I don't care m8, i will just play the Single player games, there is a Campaign and plenty of single player missions, i wasn't really expecting there to be loads of people still playing it, also it is a bit like Arma, it might help me learn that a bit better lol.

I never played a Microsoft game. Didn't even know they make games (except Flight Simulator back in the 90's :D )

CoD5 uses the Windows system in question. So it doesnt have to be a MS game.

Why would u play pirated games in the 1st place?

U can't do shit with it, you can't go online with them or u must play the games from back in the 90's maybe.

All games that come's out are all protected. It is not even fun trying to play then while downloading illegal!

Next to that, I don't think we need to discuss this kind of things in this community.

We are a gaming community, We are not the PirateBay. But hey, who am i.

I have Win 10 on my laptop...current issues are

Number Lock key can not be programmed in Bios (it is always off),

Desktop display time can not be changed,

I have to download a additional program for start button

As far as Pirated games...if you want to play them pay for them.

ive noticed the number lock thing on my laptop as well, very annoying but not happening on my pc.

As for display time and start button I've had no issue. Have never heard that happening to anyone else either. Sounds like a local issue for you alone.

Not quite right. It can disable games that use the Games for 'Windows' method. Many not MS games do.

@ - See this article on the Num Lock thing. http://winaero.com/blog/enable-numlock-logon-screen-windows-10/

Not sure what you mean by the "desktop display time."

If you mean the time before it switches to screensaver, that's under Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen -> Screen Saver Settings

If you mean the time till Windows turns the monitor off, that's under Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen -> Screen Timeout Settings

As for the Win 10 Start Button, might I suggest that no replacement is needed.  The Win 10 Start "button" is actually one of the coolest and most customizable features of Win 10.  It could use some improvements, but my guess is that it will be tweaked over time.  But even with its present feature set, it completely blows all earlier Start buttons (or lack thereof) completely out of the water!  I have used it to streamline my Taskbar because I like using the Start button better than having lots of inactive icons on the Taskbar.

Check out this video on customizing the Start Menu for some cool suggestions:

Thanks DJ! I use a lot of Window themes for my desktop background, they normally have 10 - 14 pictures and the rotate through the batch at a set time. I have yet to find where to change the display time of each frame...Windows 7 it is done per the picture attached...

Thanks again,

aj

Ah.  Yes.  From what I understand, desktop themes for Windows 10 is still only half-baked.  You can use the Win8x themes, but I guess auto rotation of desktop background images is one of the features that's still in the works.  Stay tuned, I guess.
