Okay, finally had the chance to jump in and see what all the hubbub was about. Played a couple maps (once there were a couple people to play) and I would have to say that the invisible spawn alone makes it practically unplayable. I agree with many people that there are different styles of play and all of them are possible to figure out and play against. Spawn camping is one of those things that is unfortunate but it seems like something that was always best handled by an Admin or occasionally a verbal beat down from the other players. This breaks the game IMHO. I tried sitting still long enough to activate the anti-spawn but wasn't able to do it. Some maps are run and gun and some maps are more fun to sneak around and pop a dude when he least expects it. I find its the mix of players that keeps it balanced. When I find myself sitting in one place for too long I can usually count on players like Dean to move me along. I'm not sure what caused the drop in participation on this server but I'm pretty sure this won't fix it. Just had to chime in. GoatSlayer PS.
