  1. heres the link to my cards EKWB manual https://www.ekwb.com/shop/EK-IM/EK-IM-3831109831304.pdf it seems like they had me put pads on them
  2. i am amusing sense i got a EKWB waterblock on my EVGA card that i dont need to worry about this?
  3. if your wanting a cheap gaming build why not consider a AMD build? A FX-6300 AMD cpu is only $99 and it will handle any gaming you might want to play. the MOBO for them are only getting cheaper as AMD gets ready to release their Zen line. you can save $40-$50 bucks on a them two items and spend a little more on a better vid card? i know intel is better....but if you spend $100 on a cpu, the $100 AMD cpu will be better then a $100 intel cpu IMO. I had a FX-6300 with a ASUS board and it server me well....its was handed down to my daughter who plays all her games with no troubles.
  4. Specs AMD FX 9370 4.4ghz (OC to 4.8 ) ASUS Crosshair Formula-Z MB 16 gig RAM Corsair 1200i PSU EVGA GTX 1080 SC edition Custom Water Cooled Loop made by Me
  5. OMG Drimp....they're twins
  6. Here's some pics of my PC i built. My first attempt ata custom water cooled loop. used up a few more tubes then i planned as its not as easy as it looks. but with some practice i got most of them "close enough"
  7. ok.... heres what i got. 2 Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming video cards for sale. They Both have EK water blocks with EK back plates on them. I have the stock windforce coolers that come with them. However.....the LED on the side of the card that light up are RED.....as i modded them from the WHITE LED they came with. These cards are in great shape and where not subjected to any overclocking.....as that scares me. So heres the offer. (the prices im offering are each card...will give a discount if someone buys both) With Waterblocks $250 (each) Without waterblocks $200 (each) Waterblocks without cards $50 (each) People that want to buy a card with the waterblock will be given preference. I have sold items through XI before. (sold a couple of video cards) and will have other vouch for my honesty. So send a message if interested (if i have to sell without the Waterblocks...i will of course reinstall the old coolers with new paste and thermal pads that i already purchased so it will be all ready to go) newegg link to show details of the cards ---> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125684
  8. this is cool https://youtu.be/4pY3hlQEOc0
  9. oh oh no...i wasnt saying the cop was right...not at all. was just saying the kid should have gotten out of the car in the first place.
  10. Ill be getting my 1080 in a few days....along with the waterblock for it...then ill be putting up my Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gaming video cards up for sale here on the "for sale" section of the forums. They both have EK waterblocks on them ATM...but i have the stock coolers for them too. So if anyone interested ill post them with all the info when my new stuff is installed and working
  11. bad cop? yes. but that kid should have listened and got out of the fucking car. theres reasons you should follow the directions a cop tells you when you get pulled over. they dont know you....they dont know if you got a body in the trunk and a 9mm between the seats thats going to be pulled out and used to gun you down in the middle of the street..... the media glorified criminals in the news. now every asshole thinks they can disregard the cops directions and they can get away with what ever crime the commited them cops have family's they want to go home to at the end of the day. almost everyone of these cop vs citizen videos start with the asshole resisting and or not following orders or running away.
  12. ahh i looked at that http://www.microcenter.com/product/452548/Republic_of_Gamers_Z170_Express_Maximus_VIII_Hero_LGA_1151_ATX_Intel_Motherboard i7 6700k with this mb is a good deal and the corsair ram.....its what i would get myself. looks like a good solid build with all the power to boot!! its got a M.2 slot too )
  13. for $650 you can get the i7 6700k ($350) you'd want a decent MB that does overclocking well. so that would be in the price range of ($200) The Gigabyte and ASUS boards in that price range will do. And 16 gigs of DDR4 ram. youd might want to shake a few bucks from the piggy to get a little more then your remaining $100 for some good DDR4 ram. but not too much. spending $150 on 16 gigs for good ram would be about right IMO. then you can use all your old stuff PSU. HDD, SDDS etc to build you a great rig for sure. That in fact is the way im going to do it. its the cheapest way to a real powerful gaming rig.
  14. i know as soon as i can, im getting a 1080......or 2 1070's for SLI.....
