In a way, I'm glad my old gaming rig wouldn't run BO.. cause I didn't have to go through the growing pains of getting it right. I just loaded it a few days ago.. steam updated it.. and it plays smooth as friggen silk. I have no loyalty to BO.. so it's not like I have a vested interest or some kind of misdirected pride.. TRUST ME when I say the game (today) is TEE TOTALLY friggen awesome. I like the graphics, the action, really I can't think of anything I don't like about it other than I haven't heard a lot of in-game communication going on.. but I've only played 6 or 8 matches. I only got a glitchy screen one time, and it's cause my wife was using a lot of bandwidth at the same time, so it was my fault not the game. I put many hours into playing it and enjoyed it but have gone back to playing COD5 FT because of the maps. BO's was fun but after a while I got very bored with the same maps over and over again. True they have 4 new maps coming out but it won't take long for those to get boring. Didn't care for it, installed then removed, then installed and removed again, as it is now.v Got Black OPs to try something new and really enjoyed it, through the glitches and all. Maps are a point, but everyone is getting better at the maps right along with you. I totally agree with Crack, TEAMKILL DOES SUCK WHALE ASS!!! Btw if COD4 is selling for 24.99 pounds ive got one to sell for 23.99 pounds, in sleeve with key and instructions, no box. I enjoy the game because it brings more of a challenge than cod4 does for me. 15 levels of prestige is not easy to do (not that I have). Loosing all your weapons and cod points to boot makes it a real challenge. I love all the achievements they added to this game and it's great that those achievements help you level up. I at first didn't care for the game either and was why I only prestige maybe once before reloading cod4 to play XI servers again. Yet grew tired of it again and decided to dedicate making it to prestige 15 in BO. I think too many people give up on it immediately and decide to early to not give it another chance. I like to play on our servers, I wish admins were around more. Becuase when the server has peeps in, its full. Alos the amount of hackers I find in other servers is disturbing. At CODhacks.com you can easily get aimbots and put a Santa hat on all your opponents so you can see them first. At least soon when the Mod comes out we can let in only those we know are clean. It's a shame that, four months after purchase, it still hasn't been fixed so I can play more than three games without the thing freezing up. Imagine the grind I have been through to get through 25? levels of Prestige. I'm with Johnny, I'm afraid. I haven't played BO for six weeks and don't know when/if I would return. Hey PC fans, With the launch of First Strike on the PC on March 25th, I would like to answer a few of the most frequently asked questions from the community pertaining to server admins, clients, and map rotations. Please read the below guide carefully before posting questions in the forums. Clients: Anyone can play on any server, regardless of whether or not you have DLC installed. All players will continue to receive patches (including 1.07, which deploys alongside First Strike). If a server rotates to a DLC map that you do not have installed on your PC, you will automatically get kicked from that server. Note: There will be an additional browser filter introduced in patch 1.07 that allows you to exclude servers with DLC content in their rotation. Quick match searches will only put players into matches with content that they have installed. Admins: All servers will have First Strike available on March 25th. It will be at the server admin’s discretion whether or not to run DLC maps on their server. Admins will also have the freedom to choose which First Strike maps will run on their server. Note: Admins will NOT have to purchase a copy of the map pack in order to install it on their dedicated server. Hopefully that clears up some of the most frequently asked questions surrounding the DLC deployment that will take place on March 25th. If I publicly offer an opinion it is in essence an offer for a public response, that's what forum dialouge is about. And what I have said should not impact on your fun or anyone else, it's simply a sarcastic opinion of the game. If my comments upset your fun you are taking it way too seriously. It was not either rude or personal, it was simply a negative opinion of Blk Ops. Enjoy yourself, buy the new maps and have fun.
