I got banned for spawn killing tonight. I have been playing for 3 months and registered here. I am always getting insulted and called names by some guy tagged StanG., who probably is the cause. He whines from the first seconds of the game, especially if I get to him a few times. Then it is a lot of name calling and insults. I have never responded in the same manner, which probably drives him nuts. I was in the treasure room in one map and he called it spawn killing. There is only one door and three approaches to it, but no one spawns in sight on the door. Next map I found a place where i could hide and fire first..there were no spawns in the area. Then kicked. No one spawned within my area of vision. I get killed most times before I move when spawning but never gripe as I am still learning the routines. I am 63 years old and a retired US Marine so you know I was trained not to run out in the open blasting away. I never heard of of a sniper called a "camper" before. That is the job..be hidden and make the kill without detection because you will lose trying to outduel a sub-machine gun. I have never used foul language or called another player insulting names at anytime. Guys like Annilator and others have never been abusive or anything, instead they tell you to move or tell you what you are doing wrong to improve your play. These guys are way better players than I at this time but I am improving daily. I want to know who I can talk to about this "temporary" ban and have someone check out the accusations to see if it is true. I don't think I spawn killed and I admit I don't move a lot because I never have been shown how to run fast like some of the knifers, who are very adept at moviement. When I was at the point where everytime I spawn someone blasts away and in turn I do the same maneuver and be banned, what gives. I am not regular COD4 ace mod player, I have played a couple of times and Ron is a respectful player and very killable. Shadowlady is right and between Ron in the conners and Shadowlady knifing everybody it does make you a better player. What we need to do if we suspect a player foul play is contact an Admin to observe and let them do there job not insult the player and be calling them names and the like, in other words stop whinning and acting like childern we are adults at least some of us LOL. On the other hand - real campers can be easily caught especially on large maps and then I turn on my W-hack-mode and send them to the next spawn point! He takes a lot of shit from everyone, and never gives any in return. Hell, I may have heard him talk in game once. He has typed a few messages. He is getting a bit more mobile these days, and I think it's cool. I give him NO grief on his gameplay, he can squat wherever he likes. I'll sponsor his ass if he wants to join XI. I've been in ACE ...since we started ACE.. and I've seen folks come and go. Ron is a dedicated ACE player and I like that. If he did something to deserve a kick, so be it.
