I had to go to a different slot and set up my assault class. I think i went to a custom slot 6 and set it up there and it worked for me. But i guess it's not the point here. After to do what you said, he can obviously chose an other attachment but he can't take back the perk 1, can't select. I got the same problem than G.W on all classes with the last MW2 mod. On the new one, i didn't make the same mistake on the class 1 (assault) but i did it on the class 2 and i can't change it now... I have been frustrated by this problem... I am having the exact same problem with class 1 & 6. (Can' select perk 1) The problem happened after (last month) I tried putting on a tube on class 1 then removing it. After removing the tube attachment perk 1 is gone forever. Has anyone found a solution other than reloading? I do not want to start out at level 1 again... lol Things I've tried: Removing all attachments from every weapon in every class then returning to class 1 & 6 and trying to add them back. Changing primary weapons in every class. Completely changing every class to something other than what it was. Playing. Then trying to change perk 1 on class 1 & 6. Maybe you should restart at level 55 Tubing is not bad!!! There are occasions for the tube. I wouldn't even get to start at level 55 it is 1 on mw2 mod... Takes a while. So the attachment stat for that weapon gets incorrectly set as tho it hasnt been unlocked. IMHO they did things for attachments in a screwy way for some things but can only work around it. So far the problem hasnt happened in the next release. For now, delete the player profile for the mod. Ranks are reset of course but it wont hurt anything otherwise. In the far future, if time permits, we would like to reintroduce weapon and perk unlocks and maybe a slightly more elaborate ranking system. But I fear opening a proverbial can of worms. I was able to fix the problem. I switched from 'Stopping Power' to 'Snatch and Grab' played for awhile went to change it back then it allowed me to change perk 1...
