I have not seen any post on this subject, even tho I have heard a lot of people complaining about this (Including myself, as one of the biggest in-game whiners). Is it possible sudden death is made so that in stead of who made the most kills during sudden death, it comes down to which team has the most people alive. Right now it happens very often that a team that was doing poorly before sudden death ends up winning a round, because they killed a few and the last one hides in some bush in the back of the map. Now in my idea that is not how a victory should be procurred. If a team that was losing pretty badly wants to win sudden death, they should make a legendary action. Anyway just a suggestion...

I thought this scoring issue was fixed on that server? I guess not, maybe it was only fixed in the version on Chicago server. There is not a lot we can do with that situation unless we change to the Chicago mod

I thought this scoring issue was fixed on that server? I guess not, maybe it was only fixed in the version on Chicago server. There is not a lot we can do with that situation unless we change to the Chicago mod

 

Personaly, i agree with Exe. I do not like Chicago server's version of sudden death. FT is tactical (even if i'm a fucking rushing bitch, i confess), with sudden death, it goes exactly this way.

i like the snipers on the chicago server but alot of the other parts of the mod are eeehhh plus the chicago server don't have my explodeing crossbow Q_Q

You just wait. Dusted off my old sentrygun that launches nades. Pretty cool especially on open maps and thinking about what kind of kill requirement. Designed more for longer range that lobs them over a distance than regular sentryguns. Close range not so good. Then again just as easy to kill with emp, explosives or knifing. Boom....

u know we have the mininuke we have the tactical nuke there are 3 killstreaks we are missing would love to see put in the killer cogs the emp and the moab from mw3 lol

The moab serves the same purpose as the tac nuke. Except that moab doesnt have the ability to end a match in tdm or no-respawn games if the server wants to do that. I dont know what killer cogs are. Thought about the emp but after various discussions most people didnt seem all that interested in it and that the nades were enough. One of the main rules of modding: because you can add a thing doesnt mean you should.

not my fault or the dogs fault u make the server laggy sob lol. though i think takeing out the airstrike and replaceing it with a harrier be good ^_^

The first problem with the harrier is that the game does not allow script vehicles like the heli to be manually pitched down in multiplayer games. Which would be needed in this case for it to aim its rockets and shoot its forward cannon. The couple mods I have seen it in basically use that model in place of a Cobra/Hind except it also has a weird turret so it can still shoot a gun. With the requirements needed to add it in its not worth it.

Ideas are always welcome. Often they may be impractical or a duplication of effort but lead to other ideas in turn. There are already a lot of airstrikes for example unless going into the scifi realm like the ion cannon in K3. Something like that was considered for this mod, which in itself I am sure was inspired by the sat weapon in Akira if anyone remembers that movie. But it didnt really fit. Even so Trey 'borrowed' it for their game like so many other things. However if would mean they or IW provide tools for MW3 or BO2 it would be a welcome trade and they can add whatever ideas they want. ;%29.gif

yeah or with the airstrikes and carepackages and such where the explosions don't even hit the ground lol or the carepackages get stuck on the map ceiling in the air

Yeah Heli is disabled on too many maps, I like to use it but I can't many times. Heli can be down in a few seconds by bullets so it's not so powerful compare to Artillery which is activated on all maps and we can do nothin against that shit. Some maps don't have buildings or houses to get cover, it's why heli is disabled and it's totally cool, but not for artillery.

Thats not a mod problem and is actually a good thing. Many maps are lacking full support because of a design decision by the mapper. Often sniper maps or indoor only maps etc. For full support it needs node locations for arrival, moving to various points in the play area, and departure path locations. It also needs paths for evasive and crashing. If a map lacks crash paths for example it will just sit there turning and burning for the rest of the game since it has nowhere to go.

Oh as for the care pacakges and artillery the newer mod is better at making sure the care package doesnt land there and artillery launcher vehicles can be destroyed by SAMs if it has an open path to shoot back.
