I miss the old mode on new york beta.server....

in new mode ......no RC jamer (again RC supremacy),,this new AUG is bs......i like only sniper guns(no move)

 

whay not 2 servers MW2 2 different mods ...

 

when I go to play the old mode im go to New York...

when I go to play the new mode im go to Chicago...

 

why change something that works well....??full server evry day .....

well we have to get use to it i guess...just like the beta server...

 

 

but i think the same way about the other server. at last it became a good and powerfull server with 90% of the time full numbers.

 

i stoped using the AUG as well...using the ak now...seems better in this mod. there are some new good things, like the second perk (helmet, taking lesser damage) makes you hard to kill. ^^

 

car cant be jammed so thats a good thing i think, it was frustrating for a lot of people but still think it should only be able to be taken out by an emp grenade.

 

think your judging to soon Google...normally we're on the same line about these things but give it a few more days...let's see than

yes is true....f*cking car....there are many who use car for killing not for defrost......frustrated because they can not kill another an otherwise..

defrost friendlies and get a kill with the car at the end of your time...perfect combination. and gets other people on there horses. ^^

yes is true....f*cking car....there are many who use car for killing not for defrost......frustrated because they can not kill another an otherwise..

Yeah... :-( How many times a car run next to me and kill an enemy instead of defroze me... Or killing me instead of defroze a closed teammate ahah

 

The car could just defroze and not killing no? Just turn off the exploding button then people gonna start to play a team game, what freezetag is.

 

Is it technically possible Sammy to turn off the explosion?

I played a few hours tonight and have to say I love this mod right now, all I can do is applaud you for the work you put into this Sammy, I only wish I was that talented, and also for allowing us idiots here to be your test pilots,

 

My only gripe about the current version of this mod is that the RC doesn't seem to extend the blast radius below the car, I dropped out of a couple of windows and over rocks tonight just as the car exploded but the players below me survived,

 

Other than that, it's awesome,

RC-XD blast radius is 256 units and 30/200 min/max damage. It is the same as post-patch stock tweaks that reduced range. Twice the height of a standard door. LOS checks apply. But can be set to 1000 range + damage if servers want a MOA-RC for a 3-kill weapon for some reason. I will test the car above a player and see what happens.

The RC car is very easy to kill now, takes only a couple bullets to kill it.

 

The servers do not have the same mod on them, the Chicago server has a brand new mod posted here http://www.xtremeidi...-server-962012/

 

The server is getting Sammy and I some great feedback with errors and what people wanna see and so far the feedback has been great. This mod fixes all the issues that people have with the old mod. Not 100% what I'm gonna do with this yet. Might let it go one more day and see what other issues pop up

the mod switched from chicago to NY still isnt fixed at all imo. I appreciate all the work you are doing but this is a step back vis a vis the weapons. No ACR, not even a 3-shot. Steyr is worse. The MP5 sounds like someone is shooting it while their game is in safe mode and the spas still has the silly reload. Why make a mod where you reduce the number of weapons and make them worse?

Leave ACR, Steyr and mp5 the way they were and get a diff shotgun for the spas pls.

I know you guys work hard on all the technical errors but this is currently an inferior product, pls play the mod and u will know what i mean.

I would also swap the artillery and the smartbombs around, smartbombs 6 killstreak and artillery 7

PLS PLS PLS take my thoughts into consideration.

We are the only proper feedback you get but it feels as though we are not being listened to, these issues were brought up ages ago but very little has been done to rectify them, the chicago mod has stayed unchanged with regards the weapons and this was the main reason why no-one played on it. it simply wasnt as good as the old NY one and its frustrating as hell to play on something worse.

In my opinion the hit detection has got worse, too many good guns are gone, and the armour buff is too much, that perk makes it take like 20 p90 bullets

This is not the point, we all know the hard work they're doing.

This is about feedbacks, and feedbacks are not really good, need a full magazine to kill someone from distance instead of a few bullets... I dunno if you try to do headshots QueenCobra but I try almost each time I shot and there, this is damn hard. When my laser is on the head, nothin happens when I shot.

The old one was totally better and functionnal, so maybe there is no need to put both servers with the new one, but just one just the time the other being full okay.

When I see the last post of google, this is exactly what I feel when i'm playing and we're not the only ones.

armor: assuming its 30/70 between health and armor that is basically a SC game. It will absorb three rounds or less depending on the weapon and stopping power. As an extra balance (not just stopping power) the armor piercing perk ignores all armor, including on vehicles. Just to clarify, it protects against headshots. Otherwise we wouldnt have used Master Chief's helmet as the icon.

 

suggestions: Yes there are lots of requests and all are listened to. And not just here. But that does not necessarily mean they are bugs or will go into the mod if they are not good for the game.

 

smartbomb vs artillery: smartbomb flyby speed increased so it doesnt take as long to get there. Also, the 3x smartbomb is the default. It can be increased up to 6x to give it more punch but imo that is too much.

 

guns: it sometimes happens that a gun in an updated mod is called 'better' or 'worse' when it fact no changes at all have been made to it. The rds/acog is not guaranteed to be on target because of visual gun sway especially at a distance regardless of what you see. Always been that way. If not it would be exactly that for every bullet weapon and every single shot: a laser beam. ACR should be there unless the server disabled it. Steyr is not worse. If anything it is overpowered but I did it for this server anyways.

Thanks for testing the mod peeps, sorry it went longer than I expected it too but I needed more playing time from people on the server. The old mod is back in for now, I will hopefully be putting this new mod back in soon with some things you guys requested.

Armor thing should be ok, ppl will revert to stopping power instead of stealth and armor piercing instead of eavesdrop or dead silence.

ACR is completely disabled.

No change to steyr? Then change model back pls, new one sounds rubbish. MP5 still sounds rubbish too, seriously. try it.No need to change. And still the spas reload, takes almost as long as an lmg.

The steyr model serves a dual role for both the aug and hbar. Yes lots of choices for people depending on what they want to do.
