Well here we go again this new computer is starting to be a pain in the ass. The issue I have now is I can't get any signal to monitor using HDMI cable. Graphic card is a  EVGA GTX 660 TI 2GB I am using this with single monitor Samsung fairly new 22"  and Ideas?   thanks  I  just blank screen

this has never worked  and yes it does work with VGA. I have tried every setting. My monitor is a HD TV/ Monitor. anybody else using HDMI or just the std DVI/VGA. will it really make a difference?. it is brand new card and I think its a bad card.

I use the vga cable and still have 1920 x 1080 HD so if you have a specific reason for using hdmi then just use it vga!

DVI and HDMI are the same thing as far as video (monitor) goes. And both are better then vga. The only difference is that hdmi can carry audio if your monitor has built in speakers.

I have both dvi and hdmi in use off my card as well as display port but as far as the picture quality between dvi and hdmi, I find it comparable. Odd that your hdmi not working. You should be able to plug in and go.

phility, have you tried to see if you are sending the signal to the correct hdmi input... some tv's (mine) have more than one hdmi, so you would have to set that port as the active one... i press the input button on my remote, and it lets me select if i want to receive tv signal, cable or different hdmi inputs.  Hope this helps!

Monitor gives u choice of PC  HDMI or TV  only one HDMI Port

silly question, does it show during boot up with the bios screen? or just black from the start

probably DOA HDMI port on card..I would try returning it!
