Server one we were always able to jump as much as desired and no restrictions.... Server two ALWAYS had the jump twice in a second and gun lowers.... Reading back this is what I am seeing??? Correct?? And now server one has jump restrictions and server two has the SAME jump restrictions it always had? Is this correct?? Both servers have some form of jump restrictions on them??? We have 2 servers and if I read the posts correctly they both have jump restrictions in some form on them. Suppose your server of choice made a change to say crouch only and you werent happy with it? Would you not speak up? The game to me is a simulation, thats why we have such excellent maps to make it seem or appear as realistic as possible. Being in the military and having served for over 23 years, I can assure you all I have never hopped or jumped while under fire................. So thats my take, but its a preference thing and you will never please everyone all of the time. We all have to adjust at certain points, if the Admins allowed hopping, I would have to get use to shooting high as they hop all over the place, adjustment in my opinion is all thats needed. However having played tonight I agree with Deerjon that the MoD does hinder other game play such as de frosting and jumping over obstacles............. I am not a hopper and don't particulary like it but I can deal with the occasional hop around a corner etc. Depending on how I think you'll react I might cuss you out a bit .. ok maybe more than a bit. I have seen a few players who hopped constantly and that was extremely annoying but that was a while back and I can't say I have seen any excessive hopping lately. I agree that while I support the objective it does have a negative impact on gameplay so perhaps if it can be configured to lower your weapon after 1 or maybe 2 sequential jumps we may see a better result? Failing that I think dealing with the occasional hops will be better than the impact it has having on gameplay. We can always ask our admins to have a quiet word with any noob that thinks the map is a trampoline and we could just leave them frozen.
