im not an intel fan but they do have good stats. avoid nvidia graphics cards. amd vid cards are much better in processing power. an intel cpu + amd gpu would be some of the best you can get. if you need evidence that amd is better than nvidia at processing then just look at the hash rate of a amd card vs a nvidia card....

I would avoid a corsair ssd they are very hit or miss. instead i would go with a samsung ssd. cheaper and much much more reliable.

the case is good. i like that one. another option is one of the new raidmax cases or even a haf case.

might want to up the psu a little im not sure a 750W could handle that running at 100%. i wouldnt go with anything lower than 900.

I agree  with firz. but i dont like mixing and matching the gpu and what the mb is based on. I personally have had a lot of problems running amd/ati cards on nvidia based mbs. but as far as that system  ditching the corsair for a samsung upping the power supply a little. you should have a pretty mean machine. I run amd/ati based system

I'll chime in and say that nVidia cards are good value, tend to equal and/or beat AMD in apples-to-apples comparisons, and the drivers are much more stable over-all. I've owned several nVidias and AMD/ATI's over the years and nVidia have given me the least problems. Intel processors consistently beat AMD in benchmarks, overclock better, and Intel is way ahead in their processor fabs and chip design. AMd's lead engineer has left, and they've been bleeding talent. Very sad to see, as competition is a very good thing.

- Good processor! I like the fully unlocked "K" series.

- I'm a fan of Corsair memory, so good call.

- I've got essentially the same motherboard, the Deluxe version. Very stable, tons of features. I've had good luck with ASUS mobos.

- Good video card. Maybe bump up to the 770, otherwise add a second 760 down the road when budget allows. I had 2 550's for a while and the 2nd card made a huge difference. I'm running 2x 680's now. Overkill, for sure, but I Haven found a game yet that truly taxes their capabilities. :-)

- All other components are solid products. The only suggestion I'd make is jump to a bigger SSD if you can. I have a 126Gb, and even though I install my apps on another mechanical hard drive, a lot of apps (iTunes, games and their maps etc) copy a lot of files to your hard drive. I have 35Gb free at the moment. Be sure to move your Windows swap file to another drive as it will consume a hefty chunk of that SSD.

Thanks guys, its nice to have feedback! I was thinking going samsung for SSD anyway just couldnt find the right one and I have looked at 770s but for the sake of spending a little less i'll probs stick with it until I need to add another/upgrade :)

Stick with name brand memory, as you have with the Corsair, but consider CAS9 instead of 10.  9 is faster.

Didn't see a power supply.  Thankfully, the newest graphic cards are consuming quite a bit less power to do twice the job.  800W minimum, I would say.  1000W is the high end.

Ignore all the NVIDIA nay-sayers.  NVIDIA cards are AWESOME.

nvidia will only benchmark better than amd... amd is more efficient with opencl than nvidia... much more effiecient... a 7750 hashes at 600 khashes/s while the top nvidia only does around 300. quality with amd varies greatly
