that would be my friend memory leak. you can have 120gb ram you d still get it. and it will not stop until you do fresh restart. as soon as you hit join button. close the browser it will fix it

This has been happening to me for the last couple of weeks, exactly what you are getting, apart from this morning when there was new plug in install then my frame rates were great averaging mid 80's, hope it stays like that now.

Yeah I don't think this is anything your fault or HW issue.

I have same problem. It often only happens once per round, sometime not at all but I will be rocking and blasting some fools up and frames drop to teens for a few seconds and go back to normal.

It's not memory leak or anything of that such. It's either a driver issue, game bug or combination of both that maybe only specific situations apply with specific HW.

I work in IT for a living and have plenty of ways to monitor things, debug things etc. and in each case nothing indicated it was anything with my end and pointed to the game.

Your situation COULD be different though. A spike in disk activity, ram usage, CPU usage, GPU usage or temperature could cause also and could be another program causing even. So best thing to do is maybe monitor it all. When it happens to me nothing spikes, the opposite happens, my GPU & CPU usage actually drop down almost like the game just don't want to use the power of it all for a few seconds. I have however seen some people where it ended up being something that bogged down the I/O of the disk and that in turn eats at the CPU time and it was a another program causing.

I can say it has gotten a little better tho. It use to be worse so maybe GPU driver as I have only updated that every other week with the new Nvidia ones hah.

Anyway hopefully it gets fixed or figured out for us all.

Couple things for you guys.

1 - Have you disabled Core Parking?

2 - Have you disabled power saving on your Video card (only know how to do this for nvidia)

3 - Have you completely wiped your video drivers and reinstalled?

These 3 things above are the most common fix for your issues.

If you need help on them, please ask.

Also in window power option under control panel .. Make sure it is not on energy saving option .. It should be on full power ..

Let me know if you still have trouble finding it.

I too have a AMD FX-8350 processor with only 8 gigs of ram. I use to run my system with an Nvidia GTX-760 2 Gig mem, overclocked by Gigabyte. After release, driver updates, the problem you're describing never went away until I tried my son's card in my system.

I run my games in 1920 X 1200. Unfortunately my 2 gig ram card doesn't have the performance in BF4 even running low, other games not an issue. Now I'm running a Radeon 7990 that I got a great deal on, which I run BF4 on "high", it is very smooth. My hit registration issues went totally away!

Is the card you have a two gig card? If so,consider looking at alternatives!

I have a 1 GB 560 Ti lol.  Although I have to run most the settings on medium and some at high, I get 50-75 FPS and no issues.  I just want the 770 4GB and waiting for price to drop.  Cant image what my game experience will be with everything on ultra and running 100FPS.
