I have my Logitech G15 for round about 8 years now and I think it's time for a change.

I was thinking about the

- Razer Deatstalker Ultimate but it is a little bit too expensive. ^_^

- Logitech G19 but it's 5 years old and still at 150€ -,-

Must have

- illuminated Keys

- programmable Keys

Nice to have

- a display

Any suggestions? What do you guys use?

Ive just made the switch to mechanical after using a cheap ass keyboard for years.I decided on the Corsair Vengeance K70,and i like it a lot....the cherry red switches feel so quick and responsive though can be a little sensitive at first but thats something you get used to.It makes such a difference to gaming from membrane keyboards, especially if your playing fast paced games where lots of key presses are needed.Corsair also do a bigger version, the Vengeance K90 ,more for MMO's with programmable keys..

It would probably be best to find a store with a good selection to try out.....other than that read the reviews and pick one......Happy hunting.

I am using the Logitech G510 it is almost the same as the G15 but it has somewhat more extra's, like more colours options in the keyboard and i love it, set it on green. The g15 only had the ugly orange/red colour it has 54 programmable keys and the same display as the G15.

I've gone for cherry red mechanical keys as well, same as bill. I am not going back to membrane, for sure. I strongly recommend grabbing a mecha keyboard as well. I've got a Ducky Zero (I couldn't resist) and it is sublime. And not just cause the brand is called Ducky

I bought a Logitech G710+ when my G19 "W" key started sticking.  I also have a Logitech Performance MX cordless mouse and a Logitech G13 Gamepad.  I don't really use the keyboard for much at all when gaming.  But I do love the keyboard for regular computer work.

I was going to get a Corsair and even got a M95 mouse from Amazon, but returned it because it did not fit my had properly.  Also, the K95 keyboard was announced eons ago, but they just won't ship the damn thing.  I don't get that.  The K90 is a blended keyboard using mechanical keys for the QWERTY keys and the number pad, but membrane keys for the function keys (F1 - F12) and for the programmable keys.  The K95 is the EXACT same design, but is 100% mechanical.  Given that, I just don't get why it hasn't shipped yet.  I think it was announced at CES 2012.  Ridiculous.  So I gave up on them.

I have the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate and love it. It was a little expensive but I think well worth it. Also have the Razer Mamba mouse and love that also.

Thanks for your input guys :D
I will have a look at these ones.

@DEEJAY
Yep going into a store is the best. But even though we have big stores here they don't have a big assortment of gamimg keyboards.
I bought a new mouse this year (a RAT 7). It is listed in their web shops but not available in their stores. Really disappointing :/

Again thanks for your input guys. I got a special offer and i couldn't resist:

Normally ~ $328 / 280€
Got it for ~ $260 / 190€

It's the Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7

A lot of money and i hope it will live as long as my G15 did. 7 1/2 Years. Minimum.

It's a veeeery nice keyboard. Ok, no coffe and so on. but very high quality.

Weight: round about 2,2lbs, modular, interchangeable keys near endless macro programming and so on and so on.
It was a hard decision but I think it was worth it.

just a small preview:
