A DLL can overturn everything. There are already (cracked VPN) mods/DLL's that works with VPN, Tunggle, Himachi, Evolve and sorts. This is not a cracked, hacked, no-cd key, Network. Yes GameSpy need to have a 127.x.x.x maybe! I said maybe! More info later. We might can setup servers in 2 or 3 weeks.

CryServ Network was developed because of the shutdown of GameSpy and provides an alternate connection option for Crysis Wars multiplayer ready. The client is now available for download.

since it is 3rd party and unofficial. I would recommend using wireshark to observe it's communications just to make sure it's not doing anything it shouldn't be.

I don't think CSN (cryser network) will do something like that. Nitro (the head develper behind cryser network; ssm aegisx; rx client extension) always delivered awesome work to the community and never tried something like that, at least as far as I can see/remember....

 

 

I hope I'll have time to try the cryserv client this week    as it is already available so you can try out and play a few rounds.

That is in progress right now and at test mode. The full package for the server / client will be at later stage. 

I just went in by the setup shortcuts and could pick a server by : "join 5", and I went in.

 

If you install the client, be sure where you installed it. It doesn't look it up for you.

That is up to you in combination with donations / donators.

Opening up a new server later, and a new IP, would be refreshing though.

 

I just need to make a backup, personally of the Mixed server. I lost my FTP password for that one.

The Cryserv Network and the beta servers that are currently running are really good, and even 190 different players were registered by the system. And the number is increasing daily!

 

I tested it myself, and was not disappointed, enough players, even old players, smooth servers (only with CW typical normal lag ^^) and the Cryserv client is only a decent patch, so the game remains mostly as it is (minor changes that can be set via server settings sometimes (e.g. walljump):

Wall jumping definiteley needs some training in order to do it...

 

Speaking for myself: I am sure that this is a very good and stable solution to keep playing crysis wars and a lot of players already know that and keep playing and even coming back after years they have not been playing CW!

 

BTW.: hope I can make it this Thursday to kick ur XI butts in Game (7pm EST is 01:00 in the morning over here ^^ )

BTW @all old CW Players that used to play on Mixed with arcanage, soothsayer and so on, I hit up [THOR] today and he is also coming back to CW for a few rounds.
