Spain has a great chance, if they have the same mindset from 2008 and 2010, they will win

Argentina has a chance but Messi needs to wake up and score on the international scene when it matters, he can carry them on his back

USA - out lol, they don't have the talent and they are in a tough group - Germany, Portugal advance maybe Ghana can pull an upset

England will advance past the first stage but will falter, the squads they have had lately just are not up to par with the world's other power football squads

Brazil will not make it out of the first stage, they just don't have it as well

Russia will make it past the first stage but choke and fail

Chile will not make it past the first stage as well, Netherlands and Spain will take that group

France has a chance to advance from the first stage but they don't have the fight to go all the way

yea we got a really good team this time (about time)

but i doubt we will make it past quarter final

I can see those going next round:

Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, Urugay, Italy, France, Switzerland, Argentina, Nigeria, Germany, Ghana, Belgium, Russia

But as always, there are surprises

That isn't going to happen if we play like we did against Cameroon...lol. Löw has lost his touch as can be seen by the last few exhibition games. I think we'll make it out of the group stage, but we'll be out shortly after that.

As for France, sucks that Ribiery isnt playing, will def. hurt the team.

USA will make it out of the Group stage alongside Germany, but won't get much further than that.

England could go one of two ways here, we have a tough group and for once the press over here are not beating the drum about our chances, we could lose all 3 games or we might just cause a surprise if we let all our young players loose on the Italians and Uruguayans, our biggest problem will be our defence, basically it ain't very good, our games could be high scoring encounters, if we progress through the group we have a good path for the next round but if we mange the quarter finals it looks like it will be Brazil Spain or Holland, so that's probably as far as we will get if we do manage to get out of the group, i am optimistic for our future though, we have some good young players coming through and instead of leaving them at home and going with older players this manager has thrown them in, our time might be in 4 years.

I saw the Netherlands play. .. I doubt they will get far unfortunately. . Same for England. . USA never stood a chance to begin with. I am thinking Brasil.. but maybe that is too cynical. . I geuss Spain and Germany will get far.. and yeah .. Belgium did REALLY GOOD in the playoffs. If im correct they played 8 matches.. they won 6 and drew 2. Lost 0... They didn't play against the bigger teams. But oh well

It's going to be interesting that's fo sho. With these poules.. anything can happen.

Yes but we don't call the group matches playoffs, only teams that finished second in the groups went into the playoffs, 8 teams played off, 4 winners went to the world cup along with all the Euro group winners.
