Hello, I am going to get a job soon and would like to make a new build. I don't want to use existing parts from the current (Family PC). I would like one of the nice i7 chips in a 500$ range, at least a 600 wat PSU, 2 PCI-E MOBO, looking into an AMD 295x,  an ssd for the os, and about 2 TB  on a mechanical, also need monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones. (from the ground up). I also want a basic water cooler for the CPU. I want to keep it under $1,500 and I want to play battlefield 4 on ultra at at-least 90 frames so I can record. IDK when I will have all the money, But I want to start getting a price goal and an Idea of what parts to get (GPU can change, just find me a good one for the price). Hope to get some good feed back :) -Unit_108

Hi Unit,

Have a look at:

http://www.newegg.com/

http://www.tigerdirect.com/

http://hexus.net/ (reviews)

If you have questions such as: AMD or Nvidia? which gxf card manufacturer to go with? mobo specs? low i7 or top i5?

then this can be discussed if others are interested.

Example bundle to start with:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1659459

SSD:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147254

GFX:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121840

Thats already 714.99 + 154.99 + 549.99  = 1419.97... so you can see you won't have everything you want for under the price of $1500, that just wont be possible.

I would reduce the gfx card to a 280x to free up some cash on other items.

280x is between $300 and $350 and has 2048 stream processors compared to the 290x which at $550-$600 has 2816 stream processors, giving you money for a monitor. It's then up to you for case, psu and peripherals.

Can reduce the SSD as well if u want to have both SSD and HDD for $155. I would still recommend Samsung for lower size SSD.

Happy shopping.

Kind regards,

JAH
