There are hundreds of reasons "why not" because there are independent studies that are supported by scientific facts, while all the reasons of "why" are supported by marketers that gain from selling them. All you have to do to convince us that we may be wrong is find a proper independent study (it doesn't even have to be double blind) that supports your side of the argument. That is how you can properly argue your case, otherwise you just sound like a nutjob.

We have been trying to help you see reason instead of what you currently see which is a combination of not wanting to be wrong and the placebo effect. Or at least that's the conclusion we came up with because you refuse to give us any real evidence and instead just get defensive.

Would you please link these so-called 100's scientific studies? I would love to see them!

What does not work? The entire thing... or just part of it? It does more than one thing. More like 4 types of water.

Which of the 4 does it not do?

One should be the 2.5 acidic water. Are  you telling me it will not make some acidic water at 2.5? other have..

Hundreds of reasons, not hundreds of studies lol.

As far as I know, not a single account of a placebo-controlled clinical study on alkaline/ionized water in humans has ever appeared in a mainstream, peer-reviewed medical journal. but there is science that disproves it.

This thread has gone off-topic a bit with the whole discussion of pyramid schemes....but please do your research before calling all network marketing companies pyramid schemes.  It is a pliable way that many companies bring their products to market, and even Donald Trump and Warren Buffet and Robert Kiyosaki are involved in networking products to market.  It eliminates the need for heavy advertising and marketing dollars, thus allowing the $ to be paid to the sales force.  Companies without products that just recruit are what gives the profession a bad rap.  When you think about it, the government is a pyramid, most companies are a pyramid, and within network marketing and many other industries there will be good and bad, but not all are "schemes".

right. all we are asking for is 1 legitimate outside peer reviewed study on these things doing the things they promise. you won't be able to find one. why? because they don't exist. Why don't they exist? because the product is a scam. you've been hoodwinked, bamboozled.

You ever think you go about things the wrong way Hxtr?  There is a reason that you aren't a member any longer...maybe tone it back a bit.  People CAN disagree with you and shouldn't be called names just because of that.  If anyone is a "fucking idiot", I would lay that title on the person that spends FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS on a fucking water filtration system!   :wallbash:  :wallbash:  :wallbash:

I thought we were all "fucking idiots" lol

Here is a independent study a mouse was asking for from consumers report not in favor of a Kangen but comparing it to others....

They are missing facts as to what are the differences... but they don't tell you they don't work.

http://www.alkalinewaterionizers.org/consumer-reports-why-are-kangen-water-ionizers-so-expensive/

and a site you can get more info....

I read everyone's remarks, read all the scientific data supplied. Here something that I'll add, drinking acidic anything for me hurts my teeth. I have issues with my gum line causing the sensitivity. I'm wondering what my dentist would advise here, assuming the machine actually dropped the ph to around the stated 2.5 ph. I'm sure he'll ask how I got water to such a low PH?

Hxtr, have you tested your water to see what the ph is? I'm curious, if it is in fact low, you'll get some credibility. Part of the claim against this units is the machines don't work, or rather do not drop potable tap water down to 2.5 ph. Measure your water's ph at an outside tap and then the ph off your machine. Lets see if this thing works?

Hxtr, tuff sell hey?

No doubt it's tough......

My tap water is 7.0 pH which is in most city water systems. To regulate this they use Chlorine and Sodium Fluoride. It is very hard to raise above 7.0 potential Hydrogen with tape water containing Chlorine and Sodium Fluoride. I don't have the pool testing equipment to prove it yet but I will. You can drop tap water like a rock with ease.... just add a little Gatoraide to it or any sports drink period.

Add a little Gatorade and it will drop to 2.5 which is what Gatorade is.... 2.5 potential Hydrogen.

I will never ever even if I am dying... drink Gatorade again. It's poison.

Now I understand why when I used to drink Gatorade 2.5, Sodas 2.5, and Beer 3.5 I would get Acid Reflux.... the acid in my body was too high. I have not even come close to having a case of heart burn since I started drinking this water and that is just not possible... it is a every day thing for me.

It means my pH is higher and less acid in my system. It is all I have been drinking besides beer. I am changing to Vodka.... zero hangover when you mix 9.0 pH Kangen water and Viodka or any clear liquor. My experiment for tonight. Anyone want to ooVoo watching me get drunk. ;)

I will provide more info later... I have to run. Your question is not an easy one to answer so I have to gather specifics.
