There's a lot of missions where you do co-op (you select 1 of the 4 classes) and your team has to finish the mission facing loads of pc controlled enemies. Apart from that theres the pvp ofc with a lot of modes similar to BF4, however this is on small maps and infantry only. The best out of both worlds from cod and bf4. However it feels weird that Crytek made the game and it looks awful. Its a free to play shooter and as all other of same kind it doesn't add anything new.
