The only reason their presence is poisoning anyone’s game experience is because said person clearly takes this game too seriously. It’s already been stated that the Zonk members don’t do anything wrong, so either figure out a way to counter stack or just enjoy the good fight. Sure the admins can ultimately make the decision to kick them but they shouldn’t, it sets a bad precedent and honestly, I would rather have a server full of Zonks than a bunch of poor sports. Do you play on the EU HC server? @SgtHindsight it's not the point whether it's possible to battle Zonks or not. The point is that they are disruptive, cause friction and imbalance the server. It is wrong when you say their team loses. The only game I won the past 2 days was the one when I was in the same team as the zonks. And frankly I don't want to be forced to play in a certain way and battle zonk specifically to balance the server. I don't know who wants that. Sounds like work. If someone wants to battle Zonk, they can have a scrim. But our server is not for competetive gaming one clan vs. some other clan. We just want to have fun as Pandi said. And thats kind of gone now. So, either XI is letting clans like Zonk who contribute nothing, use and take over our XI server as if it's their own playground, while our own members, friends and regulars leave and play somewhere else - or the Zonks get equally distributed to both teams as many times suggested. I don't understand the hesitation. If the admins decide to finaly deal with the situation many people who don't post here in this thread, but who leave comments in server chat or articulate their opinion strongly on TS would be very happy. Otherwise, and I can only speak for myself, I'm most likely not gonna even join the EU server anymore when one team is stacked with Zonks. On a side note: This thread does not represent the overall opinion about the subject. As said, the talk on TS and the comments in game chat speak differently. Only a few of us do actually post here who dislike the situation, but I see many "pro Zonk" comments made by people who I rarely or never see on the EU server. Set up a poll on the forum and encourage people that actually play on the EU server to cast a vote on the situation . After all we regulars are all part of XI and all help to keep the sever running . In the strange and wonderful world I live in if 5 people are causing that many problems for the majority of players there would be only be one solution . But that's just my opinion. I don't really care if i win or loose. Been playing battlefield for so long that i find my own ways of making it amusing i guess. They don't break the rules, they play as well coordinated team. When they are 1 or 2 in a squad they suck worse than my grandma.Don't really think they are that overpowering actually. Maybe a nuisance but not really disruptive.If you don't wanna make em suffer, well good then more for me couldn't really care less.I know we have lost more of my friends playing in the server due to the constant nagging in the chat about other players rather than due to the specific nag about zonk, the internal drama, the constant "bullshit" comments and whining about cheating is what drives people away not well coordinated resistance. Heck, why play hardcore at all if you don't like resistance.Do realize i started to play this server with this community due to M1sta and no one else, and he has to take a lot of this type of bullshit on a personal basis as much as this clan has to. And if this attitude towards other players and groups continues and are allowed even enforced. I think we are on really thin ice.But i throw my hat in with Shoey, put it up for a clan vote. It's probably the only way to deal with this once and for all. And i don't agree with that it should be for the people playing the servers, it's an XI internal matter to deal with. Are we gonna allow other clans to play on our servers and play as they see fit or ban them / enforce stupid rules on a no rules server. (that is what makes people join in the first place). I do think this vote will prob. lead to more dropped players than any other thing.Remember the people we accuse has friends, that play as well and they have friends... Why have a server with no rules, but with the change of being ´polled´ on forums you might never come? If it´s up to anyone to make a decision about players, I think it should be up to the admins. I really thought this thread died 3 weeks ago...guess it goes deeper. For one it´s about a single clan, the other has had it with the chat function being abused. 1: If said clan pisses you off that much, go have scrim. Or team up as good a possible with others against them, BF4 is a teambased game, lead and be followed? 2: press ´h´ until it the word `HIDE´ appears. I don't understand the hesitation. I would not go so far as to say they contribute nothing, in fact I would say they have contributed quite a bit to keeping the xi server active and competitive. It’s never a good solution to purposely ruin a group’s gameplay experience just because they accidentally ruined yours by being good players. In this situation the best solution is the equal solution, counter them with your own group. I know ZONK have been on the receiving end, and it takes "cohones" (look it up) to actually speak up. Your post is pretty much how I feel, and neither of us are paying for XI in the server. I think we reached what we were able to reach on the forums at page 3. Everything after that is like a swimming suit: You need it for public decency, but in all honesty, you feel better without. I would ask for a lock on topic if I were able. It's good to see people actually giving a crap about this game so much, they (me included) feel like taking the time to vent our opinion about it. The XI server is great. I knew about 50% of the player-base when it was still in the UK. I know 30% of you guys when it became a dutch server... I have a lot of fun on it, as I do with the banter. I am still enjoying my games immensely. Last night me and Freiheit teamed up and, fun was had. Eventhough ZONK is the bee's knees as far as most of you are concerned, I had to carry Freiheit so hard, my back is still hurting (I am lying). Saw a post on this forum somewhere about a server who banned a XI member for being a XI member, everybody in that topic found that to be stupid. Do we really wanna do the same to zonk members? Or any other clan members.. TS is used more for social interaction then to enhance and improve the game play. The XI members and friends do not as a rule try to get on the same team or squad and then try to dominate a map. Never mind, I don't care to know. Think of all the energy and time and anything-but-good feelings have surfaced because of the initial post. So he wants to play another server because they come on, so what? Lots of servers out there. I have a simple solution: someone send AyaqGuyaq a copy of BF4 and I'll be the lone wolf that takes 'em out with my nades and mows down the rest with my P90 (or whatever else fast-shootin', cigar-chompin', monkey-whippin', alligator-thrashin', candy-stealin', whiskey-drinkin' gun available). Or (most probably) I'll be the one screaming that I need reviving!!! It's a game. Some people are better than we are. We get better playing people that are better than we are. Let's not let another clan be better than we are. Tried to read all of the posts, but got tired after the 101st. Just sayin'.
