They help I see the problem is you are trying to connect to a 1.7.10 server which our server is, but your trying to connect on a 1.8.8 version of minecraft. What you need to do is: download technic launcher here http://www.technicpack.net/download once you do this you will need to search in the launcher for the mod pack called THE 1.7.10 PACK. Download and install it. Once that is done, in the top right corner under modpack options you will need to downgrade the installation from 0.8.1 version of the pack to 0.8.0 and then you should be able to connect to our server via the ip mod-mc.xtremeidiots.com port 25565 Let me know if you have any troubles.
