Try an ethernet cable splitter. Not sure how good they work but i've seen them at stores.

I will say no. Their is a reason the twists and pairs are only 4 of the 8 conductors. Just get a cheap hub or an old router will work.

An Ethernet switch will be a cheap plug and play solution.  A switch is basically that, it takes one cable and splits it into 4 or more plugs.

we are going to upgrade from the 25 mbps to the 75mbps package soon, maybe that will help, but ill make sure we ask about that. there can be a few wifi stuff going on at the same time in this household that may be part of the problem, but since im not the one who really needs the upgrade, im not going to get something "I'm" going to have to pay extra for....my brother getting a 4k tv and is upgrading the cable for the 4k streaming.

but as for me, i would like to stream with no buffering on my TV and have my pc on line at same time, most likely just to get on the internet. won't be gaming and watching movies at same time so im not worried if there a bit of a bandwidth slowdown on my pc  while streaming movies ect.

so saying that is this item im linking what im looking for?

Yes, that is exactly it!  Plug your existing cable into one port, and then plug up to 4 other cables into the others.  It turns one Ethernet cable into 4.

Just don't get a Mau. You won't have a token and you never get to see it beckoning. Got to have a token going for it to beckon.
