Had him since I was 4, 21 now so I have grown up with him. It's gonna be different at home now; getting back and this time, not having him curl up next to me while I work or play games. Its hurt us all. Im sure he is happy where he is. With the other cat he grew up with that we lost a little while ago and perhaps that cats brother who ran away when i was a kid. On the farm, it was a ritual to find the spring kittens, and play with them before their moms knew they were found. I knew generations of cats, and I cried over every one that died. What hurts me most is i never said bye. I was very panicked and distressed that my mom sent me to my grandparents and my mom phoned me an hour or so later. We buried him in the yard next to the fish pond. He always liked it there. We arent getting any more cats for some time.
