We have things going on, we have personal lives. We have not posted and said that we were going to be inactive. There are a lot of things going on right now and it has got to the point to where it's kind of stressful. I need to make sure that I log into the website or I make sure that I'm active. I've been in this clan for six years and now it honestly is stressful because I don't want to be out of the clan. Butt if I don't post or login I'm in trouble or gone. I think the whole 30 days and then you're out is not cool and you already dropped one of my friends that has social anxiety. He will probably be pissed that I made this post if he ever sees it. He's a really good guy but I don't feel comfortable with the way that things are being run because there should be some exceptions. I don't understand how someone can be removed for having a life. If that's what needs to happen then I understand but I have been in the clan for a long time and I am connected to a lot of people in the clan. I'm kind of angry because it does not represent the way that some people are when it comes to the Whole 30 day thing. My friend is very dear to me and we both had deaths in the family recently and we don't play very often. Hell his computer doesn't even work right now, but he's supposed to post in the vacation section so that he can stay a member? I can't get a chance to even be at my home let alone get on my computer so why aren't there any exceptions. We love being XI Actually i think it just more like 3 months before you lose your tags, after 30 days we just get a reminder that we have not logged in this length of time, if you look on the scrolling "missing members" list on the left hand side of the homepage you will see first name (taken as an example) is Poison Ivy, she is still a clan member but last time she logged on to the website was on February 7th 2016 which is 83 days ago, the person you are talking about "Decoy" has not been active since February 24th 2015....well over a year, it only takes 30 seconds to log on then you can log off again immediately. Some clans give you tags and could care less if they see you again. You're a lifetime member even if you never interact with the clan or other members, or visit their web or game sites. That tag is a label, nothing more. At XI, we don't do labels. We're family. And you're either a part of the family, or you're not. We ask that you check in once a month to make sure you want to remain a member of this family. All kinds of problems can come up in life and we understand that. Need some time away from your XI family for any reason whatsoever? No problem. Just let us know, and you'll be good. We've 600 members. That's a lot of folks but if you're part of this family you know many of them. That's the way it should be. That's what makes XI strong, and why we're the largest PC gaming clan in the country. We're a family. Checking in with your family once a month isn't too much to ask. Personally I never seen a problem logging into the website because social media sites have no problem being logged into by most everyday and im more then sure its for family and friends to stay up to date with each other.... As has been pointed out - people do have lives and sometimes need to take a long term break - I have done the same in the past. As has also been pointed out we do care about members remaining active and staying a part of the community. As a confirmation - you receive the warning at 30 days of inactivity and the move takes place at 90 days - both events will send an email to the user. The email does state that it is an automated system and to contact myself or ROCKAPE if you think it's a mistake. Generally even if you post you will get these warnings and be moved. However simply PM'ing ROCKAPE when you are ready to resume will generally have your tags returned to you if that was the case. It's ROCKS discretion to ask for a re-application or not. In the end it's a game and we are here to have fun however we also want to be in a meaningful community and have members that are not just in it for the tags.
