Very nice collection, I too have a Springfield Armory M1 Garand, its a 1945 serial number, bought it off a good friend, only thing is , he had it completely restored, so any collector value is gone, still fun to shoot though, really like your 1911 pistol.

I'm drooling over that M1 Carbine.

Shot alot of rounds through my uncles M1 Garand and I'll tell ya they put a serious hurting on your shoulder without a rubber butt pad. That steel putt plate and 30-06 round will have you all black and blue and sore as hell in the morning especially with my skinny ass shooting  lol.

Been thinking about getting a M14 or Mini 14 for a while now.Might have to look into them again.

You can pick up a good used Garand for $100-$150 or a nice NOS (New Old Stock) fresh out the crate Garand for $300.

Offered to take down a cinder block silo for a local farmer awhile back. I guessed maybe 40 rounds out of my K98 Mauser in the right spot would send it toppling. 195 shots, steel buttplate & tee-shirt, and my shoulder was pummled, hands shaking when it finally heeled over and collapsed.

nice collection.  I think together we can correct the common misuse of the term "clip" used by many.  I am constantly telling folks if they want to use a clip then play medal of honor not COD

I tell everyone online and in game, you're gettin' the whole magazine. That means every bullet the gun can deliver.

You're right, too many people call magazines clips. The only weapons in  the picture that use clips are the Garand (en bloc clip) and the M1917 revolver (moon clip).

When you here the term "The whole nine yards" that statement refers to a 30 cal. machine gun belt that was  . . yep nine yards long  . . . and a very excited gunner that was gonna shoot the whole belt at the enemy. "Give em the whole nine yards"!!
