Well, I'll take it to court still, but not to dispute the cop, just to see if I can get off on a technicality or if he doesn't show or i get a buddy to ask him not too hah. But it's like you say. I've never gotten mad at someone else because I did something wrong and they caught me. Man the fuck up if you fuck up. This whole concept of I didn't do anything wrong. Maybe you didn't, but you're not going to win that battle in that moment. You win it in court because no matter what. You're either going to court or you might end up in a grave, either way you're not going to just walk away. I've got family in law enforcement. Yes, some fucked up cops are in the system too (not my family of course lol). But they aren't all bad and hey, some are even human and make mistakes... It's all sad really. Because the same cop someone would say "fuck you" to could be the same one they call when someone breaks into and holds a gun to them... End of the day who's the one running into the crimes and who's running away from them? I blame the media for a lot of this too though. The shootings that happened at schools, well it's cause the kids wanted to go out in fame. They see it happen and others kept doing it. Yes they had mental issues but the media fed it. Same with this police crap. People who've never had an interaction with a cop even are out saying cops are bad bla bla... Okay, end of my rant lol. You will be back on the road faster if you cooperate than if you were to argue and try to bullshit your rights that you made up. If you were speeding and going less than 10 MPH over chances are you can fight it if the conditions were safe for it such as clear skies, day time, and light traffic. I have been in that situation. As I a supervisor and in charge of our body cameras, I found an officer that stole a stupid little usb charger out of someones vehicle. It was all on video. The victim of the theft had no idea. I immediately reported it and the officer was subsequently terminated. It was a shame, we all respected him and felt that he was next on the list for a supervisor position.
