A lot of potential here to have a great game to be played. Let's hope that the makers won't co opt any of the hard work private Mods have done to make the Original a better game without giving the proper credit to them. And allow Flexibility for future Modding and map making to happen with this new release. Kind of pisses me off that it's not being released as a stand alone. I still think it is a little sad and funny that so many sweet maps were co-opted into games in the past. I cannot even recall when I saw it, but I do remember once when shopping I saw an add-on pack that was all mods created by users. I am pretty sure they never get paid. Meaning a server cant be put on a clans server box. The idea was to provide some limited functionality for basic customization but without offering server files to the general public.
