Your real concern should be for anti-malware, this is my choice for both Mac and Windows if needed:

One of the best ones out there is Emsisoft. I have been using it for 4 years and haven't got hit with anything yet. It doesn't bog down the system and updates every hour. If your interested hit me up and I can give you a link to get it cheaper than on their site.

I used Kaspersky, Avira, AVG, Malwarebytes and Dr. Web.
I found Avira and AVG rather disturbing, to be honest, yet they did their job good enough. We had Avira in one of the offices I worked in, it had its minuses, like not dealing with all the viruses I had on my USB drive but it was about 5 years ago.
All of these antiviruses have some free tools, you can try them our first.
If I were you, I would go for Malwarebytes or Kaspersky. The last one is installed on my PC for years already and I have no troubles with it so far.
Btw, never heard of Emsisoft. Gonna check that out one day.

Check out the Virus Bulletin for the top-rated AV programs: https://www.virusbulletin.com/testing/results/latest/vb100-antimalware

Some of those mentioned above are in the table.

How each performs (and impacts) on your system will, I have found, be determined by the specs of your machine.

Some are demanding on resources so one can forget about doing anything else whilst they are updating etc.

If you choose a free solution, it is worth reading the terms and conditions especially the privacy policy.  AVG (Free)

is an example of a program that monitors your web usage (but, if you are using Windows 10 already, perhaps

you aren't that bothered... ).

I have favoured the paid-for version of AVG for some years as it is relatively stable and well-behaved.  It is

important, however, to disable the automatic checks for updates if one is playing games as I have found these crash

the PC in-game.  Better to schedule the update checks for when one is not playing.

No BS here...

My dad called his computer forensics friend in the CIA and asked  him what they recommended out of all the AV's last your about this time and he recommended Zone Alarm Extreme.

Zone Alarm locks a PC down big time and I hate it if you have a slow PC and a regular HD. Way to much for a slow system and with out a SSD it slows a PC down big time. With an SSD you cant hardly tell it is running on a faster system.

For myself... Malwarebytes is all I run. I can't stand AV software slowing my crap down. Customers different story.

I will check out Yacc's suggestion.

You already have a trifecta - your third element is Windows Defender.  That should be your primary.  Malwarebytes as a backup.  Run it weekly, or so.  CCleaner?  idk.  More of a cleaner of gunk than malware or virus protection.
