Ok, so I want a good Computer that won't run me more that 1,000, so  First GPU (Most important) I wanted a GTX 960, but there is also a GTX  1050ti, the 960 is about 150-200 and the 1050ti is 100-150. Any suggestion or thing I'm should think about, or anything other suggestions?

I like my 960. But its also a tiny bit dated for those that want the latest and greatest every year. However if you need to wait a bit on a gpu due to the cost the next gen Intel chips, out soon, will have pretty good graphics unless you need to max out everything on every game.

Ok, so I'll get the GTX 1060 (the one above). OK next is Motherboard, they seem really complicated and I don't want to read a long lecture about Motherboards i.e.- are there any good one that are fairly priced?

Gigabyte is my favorite. Seems to always work well in the past and present.

1. I would prefer to use Intel but i will use AMD as a last resort (just preference)

2.My current computer has Gigabyte, so I will look into Gygabite Motherboard first

3.I don't want to buy a Pre-built computer The point is to build the computer myself.

P.s. (the list is for each reply)

Really need to answer all of these questions...as well as...

What monitor (s) are you going to use...

What games are you going to play....

Ohh sorry I didn't see those, I don't want to overclock; I want just a normal ATX Case. For the monitor, I currently an "ASUS VX228H"and I plan to stay with it. I play a lot of games usually anything besides MMO's or RPG's.

Next gen Intel chips out in January. MBs to use them soon after that, or I assume the usual bios updates. So I would wait until then and for prices to settle before making any purchases. Might be some nice bargains.

All this should answer your questions. Speck out a system and post what you got after you have priced it out. Then we can see what you got and make suggestions.

On this list I would upgrade the Power Supply, Motherboard to a Gigabyte, choose Windows 7... fuck Windows 10 but that is me... get two 8GB sicks of Ram for 16GB, and maybe upgrade the CPU stock fan but that my not be necessary especially since you are not over clocking.

@@hxtr I will take a look at all the components that you suggested to me. Also, do you think I could upgrade this in the future; and that 450W PSU will be enough for the future??

Get an inexpensive single-fan corsair water cooler. The case is already designed for it. A bitch to install especially with pci cards because of the hoses but very efficient and quiet. The picture shows how it will be organized. Not for overclocking but if you plan to do anything at full load for extended periods like video compression. It can push every core to %100 for hours.  Software included for controlling the fan to turn it way down or way up as needed.

Get a bluray burner. Not so much for writing but for reading. See above for video compression and if you plan to backup your bluray collection and/or make it available for streaming. I back up the really important stuff like imported anime. Which isnt cheap. Or out of print items.

For a drive, might want to just get a 500gb ssd for window and programs to save a bit of money. Depending on whether or not you plan to have lots of games that require 20gb each. Then a second cheap large capacity hdd for general storage of data.

For PSU, when you decide what you want there are many power calculators online telling you what you will need. You can also add in potential future items to see what you will need later. Bronze is a minimum. Gold is better. Where I live the difference in cost between tier one and two is big and every little bit helps especially when you are on a budget.

Since you wont be doing this until april, I assume, not worth checking out prices right now. Just what you plan to do and with an eye towards NOT having to upgrade in a year.

More expensive that what you have in mind and it also includes some rebates. Yes rebates do often come through. But it also takes a different approach and includes some extras. Depends on whether or not $1000 is a hard number of a guideline.

Yes I prefer win7pro. However compared to win10pro its an extra 50 bucks. Depends on what kind of control you want. And whether or not you think win10 spies on you.

$1000 not 1000w.... hahahah

If you go look at all them links.. they are to get a system under $1000. :)
