@@Sammy I would prefer Windows 10; I'm used to it. And I really like the computer parts that you linked to me but its a bit over my budget, could we maybe remove the CPU liquid cooling and lower the capacity of the SSD to save some money? but other than that it seems the best I've seen.

Hehe ok. Yes I know it was under $1000. I made an alternate that was a little more expensive but will serve better in the long term and cover more bases. If short term cost is an issue, and current games on ultra is not an immediate requirement, the intel chips coming soon will have gpus that will do just fine for most things. So if need be getting a dedicated gpu can wait.

edit: Yes nothing wrong with waiting on stuff like the cooler. Use the stock one for now and get something better later. SSD capacity depends on what kind of programs you plan to install and how big they are. A second HDD is also useful for keeping seldom used programs instead of filling up the primary. My games are on a black wd drive since I dont play them all that much.

@@Sammy Nah I don't really run any big programs, I just mostly Game and simple web browsing and simple word processing for school. I think with 150GB SSD would be enough.

256 minimum. 128 will fill up fast. Especially if you dont also have an hdd. Im currently using 120 out of 256 but I have no games at all on it. Just windows and various programs. I also dont use it for storage except some of the more recent downloads before I trash what I dont want and move the rest off of it.

can you do a 256 or 250GB. 128GB is very small these days. But that 1T will help.

I'd first determine how much you are willing to spend in total for a system and go in the order that hxtr pointed out.

If want to go budget, I would not go for the latest and greatest (2nd generation or next in line would be sufficient

for the next 5 years).  I might put motherboard ahead of CPU and get one that can support future CPUs, latest

socket type.  Latest CPUs tend to be priced pretty high so I wouldn't go all out on CPU until the price is manageable.

On the motherboard, I'd pay attention to PCI-E lanes (how many and what type). On hard drives, don't bother with

anyting other than solid state drives.  Since you're a gamer I imagine your priority would probably be to get the latest

video card which could run up to $500 but you can get a formidable one for $250. I would always get 2nd generation

since prices always come down when newer stuff comes out which is practically every 4-5 months.  If you already have

a case make sure you get a power supply that can handle the power drawn by your card and SSDs.  You can construct

a decent system that'll last you awhile for $700. Good luck and happy shopping !
