You can do that by the GUI. Using the console is a matter of preference. Some times people lower the graphics settings to get a better FPS, or consistent FPS which in turn provides for a smoother game. Voice chat can be turned on and off from GUI as well. And changing cfg is so old like ego shotters, i remeber counterstrike 1.4 u also can use interp... i am used to play with low graphics, because i dont that it look realistic to me, i just want a lag free gaming experience and now shadows,golden weopon or other stuff. And to Chile and Drimp, i stop talking to u guys now on server. But often its hard to not answer ;-) Why i opend this thread was, because Drimp said, i record a kill it looks like a cheat. And i knew that if he has different graphic settings he maybe didnt saw this enemy and so it looks like a cheat. But i am happy that u admins dont ban because of changing settings to have higher fps while gaming. @stormcrow: You are right, i dont know all these maps and i get used to where are some good spots, so i use them. Players like u know them and i am a freekill, but alot of others i can kill 10 times from same spot they flame first cheater before throwing a nade or a tube in my direction. If you have concerns about a player, please PM an admin about it. Please do not attack that player in game or in the forums. The admin team will be glad to check into your concerns. Thou shall not harrass a player for his or her playing style, Thou shall not accuse people of hacking and cheating in the server or forums, take it to an admin. honey is just the latest of a long list of players that people hate because they dont know them and they are good at the game in their own style of play. He/She will probably have XI tags soon enough.... same as yas hated Gooney and all bitched he hacked... Now an XI... Bas, the camping hacking bastard as he was well known... now XI... I dont think he hacks, Drimp can record him all he wants, what Drimp needs to do, and MANY in server have seen it, is keep the hateful shit to himself. Now an XI... Was XI. We do discourage in-game harassment, and also monitor players who register on our radar. We ban them before they even see it coming. What people tend to miss is that hackers don't always have the best scores. I will repeat what has been said numerous times before, If you suspect someone send a PM to your favorite admin(s) or all admins whichever is your poison of choice. Don't attack the alleged offender in-game. It takes away the possible element of surprise.
