EA has always been a Console based company.Dice aka Trauma Studios was solely a PC based company which actually cared what people thought of there games and mods. Thus they had full support of and for the modding community. BF2 was the last Battlefield game that had any mod support. Ubisoft owns what is left of the old Trauma Studios AKA Kaos Studios. I haven't bought a Battlefield game since BF BC2 and didn't play that one much.If they release a game that has mod support and private server hosting capabilities like the older BF2 and 1942 games I'll buy it. But I refuse to buy any game that has purchasable battlepacks and shit. I'm a firm believer of only having to put money into a game once. I'm OK with expansion packs as long as they offer a large quantity of content to keep me interested in the game but it Must have Modding support.
