I coupled it with an Nvidia 1080 and 32GB of memory running on a ASROCK X370 K4 motherboard. Yes its cheaper than Intel. But so far I have not seen a vast improvement in performance. AMD was the best for a couple years until the Core2 series rolled in. AMD can come back on top. AMD used to be the absolute best gaming CPU, intel just could not come close to AMD's performance.
