Before on the home page you can see a small portion to what that last post in a topic was. It was a teaser to get you to want to read what was just said even though you you might have read the topic already. Now you see lots of room taken up but only a subject, view count, poster, last posted, date info and a mug shot. So once someone posts happy birthday to someone.. if someone say something funny worth reading... no way to know (hey go read that threat again people are having fun) as it looks like nothing has changed but the view and post count.
