Just heard the other day that the roof next to one of the spawns has been ruled a 'glitch' because you can't kill folks with an airstrike. I'm lead to believe that the admins have a site which details this type of info on all the maps but it's not exposed to the regular XI or website members. So maybe there is more info that can be relayed here. Just played it again today and a number of folks had to tell others not to go up there. I thought we could continue the conversation here as to why it's a glitch, to help solidify the understanding when we need to explain it to other players. Heck there are some whole maps where you can't get struck from the air (a ceiling). So what say you? @Xistance @crimson@Nighto @dayton @WildPenguin @Roxy! How are you? Well, you are correct about the info you got from the server, the spot mentioned its currently considered a glitch. The reason because it is a glitch it's the same you also mentioned there (airstrikes are not working there), also others killstreaks are not working correctly. As I understand it, the admins should have those pics/vid already @Roxy! or @Icequeen ?? I can't find a pic that currently shows it, and we have about 10 more maps to go in rotation before it comes up again, I'll try and jump in 6 hours from now and see if I can get a few pics/vid. When you spawn in the SW corner bye the water tower, if you go to the stairway that takes you to the roof of new construction then continue to cross the wood plank to the adjacent roof where the other smaller water tower is. Cross the second wood plank to the building a lil NW of the small water tower building the cross the 3rd wood plank and your standing on the building. Its right close to the tank you jump on to get over the wall. If you lay down on the roof you cannot be damaged by anything from the air but if you stand up you can be killed. Can't shoot people up there unless your up above on top of the water tower and grenades bounce off the side unless you throw them almost straight up. It was discussed, tested and voted on by the admins that it is a glitch, and was signed off by a senior admin. If such locations are publicized which is more likely to happen. More people stay away from them as good players? Or more people go there because they are douchbags? And then factor in admins not being there 24/7. I hate to say it but glitches are like candy. You are watching your weight and sugar intake but even the best of us break down now and then to eat some. So long as we can get away with it. I get what you're saying, but I would like to think that if it was posted in the clan members section that no one would take advantage of it.
