The problem I have is that I can hear a distinctive bumping noise coming from the speakers every now and then, this appears to also happen when the sound system is connected directly to a phone. Stop using USB your sound and see if the problem goes away. You have the mouse, keyboard and whatever else on that. If not an option to not use USB maybe get another add in USB card just for the sound. I am guessing.. throwing things at the wall to see if anything sticks. Good luck. Try sending a text and having the phone right next to the sub-woofer and seeing if the noise is more distinct.I have to have my phone on the other side of the desk from my sub-woofer. I have a Logitech 5.1 surround system for my PC and haven't had an issue with it for over 6 years. One of my mates had a older Logitech surround sound version of mine and he played it constantly on max bass and he had a odd subwoofer sound after a while, it eventually died in the end.
